I am constantly studying the art of deception and manipulation (also known as Social Engineering), and have found that it is a very interesting subject. By using it, you can make someone feel absolutely great about themselves, stupid about themselves, not even notice you, notice you completely, think very highly or low about you. My god, with Social Engineering, you can make people think whatever you want them to think. I am a sophomore in highschool, and have been taking college classes and making A's. How? By simply talking to my professors, and showing them that I am "apparently" willing to take time out of my life to dedicate it to my work and their help. I always ask questions that i already know and ask questions that i need to know. ( I am not saying that I do not try, but I am definetely getting some help by showing them the type of person I am, or want to be )

From this, i have surpassed multiple prerequisites (without taking a test) just by talking to the Chancellor (spelling?). My teachers all think i am a great person. (Im not saying that im a bad person, but im saying that they look higher to me than they do most of the people around me)

People's minds are so easy to manipulate. Any thoughts on this subject? Comments? Facts? Cool Books?

    Books:

I suggest reading "The Art of Deception : Controlling the Human Element of Security"

*EDIT* Deleted some crap that sounded bad lol *EDIT*

See, You are correct. People are very easily manipulated, over the littlest of things and all it takes is a mere comment. I think it's quite sad. Gah, I had a book but I gave it to someone else for good reading a while ago..that reminds me to get it back..hmm

Oh yes...It's good to know that you're able to manipulate, and how easy it is...But it's not good to toy with people opinons and emotions and such...mainly because they are human beings. A lot of people already can't think for themselves or make good desions that their future relies on...they may deserve it but still...Give them a break.

Using it on teachers? Hmm...Well It wouldn't hurt at all to try that

I dont manipulate the teachers, i simply get them to see the type of person I am in a hurried manner, so they do not judge me in a wrong way. Its always good to get people to know that i am not a bad person, no matter how i dress or look. (Get it? Haha.)

Ah, that I do. You don't know how many people thought I was illiterate just for the fact I don't like colors. Hmph. When I was in a discussion with people about classes and grade averages they actually said "Wow, I'm Surprized.". Bastards.

Oh, I'm ordering that book by the way. I'm in a really bad need of a good book.

I strongly suggest finding out your birth TIME and together with the date and locale, you can find out in which astrological houses the various planets are found, for you. You are very likely born to be the way you are and nothing more profound than that. Maybe you have Jupiter and Venus in the Tenth House or something, that could do it. There are free sites and free software on the Internet that can formulate your natal chart (without analysis)... such a chart is a good accoutrement (spelling?) to possess in life.

The ease with which a person uses their language is a good clue into their intelligence. You seem to be a reasonably bright person. I'm not sure that what you've achieved is very far beyond what you merit. Perhaps you've convinced the faculty to let you study material that is a bit of a stretch for you, but you seem to be capable of making that stretch. People in the teaching profession are not all as stupid as you think and they often have much better people skills than they let on. I suspect they can tell from your personality that you have the discipline to succeed.

Remember that most of your peers in school are blithering idiots. Your public school courses have been dumbed down for forty years. Most college graduates now have what used to be a seventh grade education, in every area except their major, in which they have the equivalent of a good high school education or maybe a few junior college courses. Your teachers are gratified to finally come across a student who is capable of working at what should be his own grade level.

As for manipulating people just because you can... The difference between a good person and an evil person is what he tries to accomplish with his strengths. If you can manipulate people into endeavors or trains of thought that result in becoming smarter or wiser, you've done a good deed. If you manipulate them into sacrificing their own happiness, health, security, etc., in order to increase yours, that's pretty obviously evil. Everything else is in the grey area in between. Do your best and make sure you can look yourself in the eye in the mirror every morning.

Fraggle Rocker, your response is perfect. Thanks for your outlook on this subject!

Not only are you completely correct about my peers, you identify the evil and good of manipulation correctly =D

I suppose i would be in the Grey area and Good Deed area.

I never thought of my teachers having good people skills... that actually makes me think and realize what is going on around me more clearly. It makes more sense now!
