I'm just suggesting a sex forum, where you can discuss anything sexual, such as problems, techniques, humor, history and so on. Has this been suggested before? Would it not work because there are too many people under the age of 18, and that isn't allowed?
I think that this is a bad idea. I suspect that most of the threads there would go to cesspoll imediately. Besides.. don't forget that it is still sciforums, although many seem to forget it these days Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I agree with Avatar. I think it would be quite hard to stay on the scientific side of sex. And such a forum could attract some seedy individuals that may disrupt normal discussions.

I suggested a sex forums along with a few other people is the New Forums thread. I think it would be a good idea. There are sex threads here and there, they usually end up in Human Science, Biology or the dreaded Cesspool. Let's face it, som,e of us have sex every day. Sex still has scientific mystery and descussion. I have noticed threads from teens talking about STDs, attraction and sexual methods. I think there should be a seperate forum for this under close moderation to stop immaturity problems with people who can't discuss sex with some degree of seriousness.
Its not that it won't be discussed seriously. The kind of pathetic discussion it would inspire can't be moderated, like I was telling the mods to ban stupid people instead of mean ones, like James R said you can't guage stupidity without seeming like you're choosing favourites. They'd have to let things slide. Oh ok, this girl can't decide between 2 guys, can't really complain about that, ok this guys having trouble finding ladies, can't ban him for that, this girl wants to know about douches, well it is on topic, etc etc and it just degenerates into young morons prattling on about meaningless childish shit and there's nothing the mods can do about it without seeming unjust. Meanwhile millions of morons are googling "boy troubles" and finding the sex area of sciforums, and they're flocking in in their droves and being squeezed out into other areas and making stupid threads because they're stupid people, the kind that google search boy troubles. And eventually sciforums is ruined completely. The fact that decent discussion could be had there by intelligent people is totally overshadowed by the inevitable disaster such a subforum would produce.
A sex thread could go under morals (if it calls in moral values) or anything else could go under the human section
a great idea...after all us humans gots lots of sides aint we? i also belong to a chaos magickians forum. i am not a practicing chaos magickian, but i like their company, as many of them are VERY openminded they have a number of forums and one is devoted to sex in all its mainfestations, called 'St Justin's Brothel Forum' it is VERy successful, and em, well used
