Oh, and feel free to rant about either of the candidates.

    Not that you wouldn't, anyway.

(P.S I voted for Kerry too, although I am not American and despise the way you yanks assume yourselves as the world's police)

Edwards should be at the top of the ticket. I'm rather disappointed in the Democrats, who seem to sink to the occasion.

One real bitch about American cars in the 1990s was that they didn't have enough power. I remember once being in a Grand-Am that couldn't hold its speed going uphill. The first time I was in a Geo, it had a hard time keeping 55 mph with four people crammed inside.

The idea was that fuel and money shouldn't be wasted overpowering a car. If you ever find the genius responsible for that idea, run him down slowly and then claim you would have been more merciful but the car didn't have enough power to drive over him.

And this is essentially what the Democratic voters have done in setting up Kerry at the top of the ticket. They had a chance to tear this one open, but decided for some reason to not overpower the charge against the opposition. Nothing like going into battle half-dressed, half-witted, and half-assed.

I mean ... Kerry/Edwards is still the better of the two tickets, but why give us the four-banger with the automatic transmission when we can go screaming down the road with a V-8, a 5-speed ... oh, hell ... even if they did that, the Dems would never shift through the gears. Put it in fifth and go. And hey, what's a clutch?

But at least they have better hair.

Lets all remember that this is not a scientific poll and that the populace here at sciforums does not accurately represent the American people. But looking at the vote it would be nice if it did.

Kerry. Bush is an idiot who will destroy our freedoms, and then lie to us about what he did.

    BUSH

The fact that democrats came up with Kerry shows exactly what kind of shape their party is in...terrible.

HA HA -- That's about the stupidest thing I ever heard.
What a great America bashing board...sorry to just find this today...

How much money does canada give to the world? How many of your boys are dying in Iraq for world peace and freedom? How much food has Canada given to help the world's hunger? If we didn't do it you'd never come out of your igloo to do it, and you know that's the absolute truth.

I've read a few of these posts and come to a few conclusions...you are either Anti-Bush and Anti-War simply because America is the one stepping up. If planes crashed into a hockey arena in Canada maybe that'd be the wake-up call you need...but guess what, they didn't. America is attacked because people despise us because we are free to speak, write, vote, and just about anything else except break the laws that are put in place. You come at me with the charge of "being the world's police."

Face it, you're a closet American because you WISH you were born an American. I think I counted more Bush votes than 0 also ?

By the way, how is socialized medicine working out? We should close the borders to stop you from coming south to get real treatment, and then give you a real reason to hate america. You have to admit, we've fought for our freedom, we've earned our freedom, and the fact that we Police the world is the best thing that could happen to Canada.

Mod note: edit post to revise.

I'm not American but since they are close neighbours, I would vote for the anti-war party, the Democrats are anti-war, so i vote for Kerry.

Democrats are the anti-war party now? It'd be awfully nice if they'd make themselves out to seem that way. They're a bunch of spineless politicking bastards for the most part. . . but again, still better than Bush and his regime of deceit and terror. Who's going to invade us to liberate the American people from him?
