I liked all math classes we had in highschool, esp. geometry. But I absolutely hated probability and that shit.
on a similar note..... the ones the teacher was away for Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
ooo you mean topics. i thought you mean actual classes. well, skipping them has always been best, i agree.
calculus. whether it was for the math or the company...i'm not telling. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I liked grade one math, where we learned simple addition and subtraction and we may have started learning the concept of multiplication. Seriously, I probably like trog the best. I especially liked it when out teacher made us figure out heights and distances of objects around our school by only giving us one distance and a protractor. We learned the height of one side of the school using a distance from the other side! I enjoy mostly practical math that has common uses. I'm doing grade 12 advanced functions and introductory to calculus next semester, i'm a little nervous because I wouldn't have done math for two years when I start this course at the beginning of the school year. I heard Calculus was easier than advanced functions like we did in grade 12... I guess I will find out.
first maths was dam hard, since i was about 6 and didnt have a clue how to do stuff like x + 1 = 3. which is incredibly annoying.
I liked algebra the best so far. I have only completed grade 10 math though (just got report card today and got 76 in math)
Well I'm a high-school drop out, so math was never my cup of tea. But after living in Las Vegas for about two years, and began to gamble, and also study the stock market, and began investing, I consider that the math I like best is statistics & probabilities. Along with finance. Godless.
hmm, many to pick from, but probably analytic number theory would be on the top of my list. Though I have fond memories of graph theory and topology courses in my last year as an undergrad. Complex analysis was both fun and beautiful also. It's tough to pick a favorite.
Hmmmm...... I don't know. I find 40% of my classes interesting, but the other 80% just flat out boring!
I really enjoy arranging equations, and parabolic equations. Also circle geometry, because it's simple but all has to do with spatial relations.
