American Life in the Summertime. I don't know by whom, but I heard it in the morning before we went mountainhiking -- imagine the worst imaginable shit: I am up there, on 2500 meters (The Alps), all bare rock around me, wonderful plates, we're climbing -- and I can't get that shitty song out of my head!!
Ugly by Daphne and Celest... *ARRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!* No Limits by 2Unlimited Hey Mickey by Toni Basil I need to go lie down now as my head is sore...
"Party All The Time" by Eddy Murphy. You can close the thread now, there is nothing else in the history of music that comes close. Keep this in mind if you ever have the misfourtune of hearing it. Though he is a comedian, this song was NOT a spoof. This was a real attempt at music.
For the inherent blasphemy, Ms. Spears' cover of "I Love Rock N' Roll" tops even the shame and humiliation fostered by the star of The Haunted Mansion.
Buffys, I can remember that song very well (and the video with Eddie and Rick James). The video was in heavy rotation in late 1985/early 1986 and I was unemployed at the time. Yes, it is bad. But I don't think you've ever heard this man's musical atrocity. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Party All The Time pales in comparison to his sheer awfulness.
at least his popularity was a response to the percieved norm of the time, rebellion for it's own sake or just a way to punish your parents. In other cases, something is great BECAUSE it's so bad like "Plan 9 from Outer Space". Murphy's song was just bad. No statement, no kitch value, just really, really bad.
