Very nice photo, Repo: it could have come straight out of "Black & White" magasine, given its composition and lighting.

Or it could be a set snap from "Back to the Future": the building looks familiar, and the car is, of course, a symbol of 1950s nostalgia.

I wish! He traded that in for a '58 Corvette. Then he went through a rough patch, and it was reposessed. He had a lot of cool cars, but by the time I was on the scene, he had a 1963 Ford Ranchero with a straight 6 and an automatic. Pretty boring ride.

I found the negative for that shot and had it enlarged. He and his girlfriend went on a road trip from California to his hometown of Monroe, Louisiana, and took tourist photos the whole way. Many are for things that are long since gone.

I'm hideous, so I don't keep any pics of myself. I tend to shy from cameras. I think I got one of me and my little nephew around that isn't too atrocious. I'll have to set up my scanner though.

 

Okay, so how long will that take?

 

A bit, my brother is sleeping in the room where my scanner is and I don't want to wake him up. I'll set it up later tonight. My mom recently sent me some pictures of when I was a kid, I was cute back then. Maybe I'll put one of them in too.

How do I get the attachments to show in the page though? I tried one in another thread and it just put up a link.

 

You have to have hosting for JPEGS (or any other type of file) to show. This saves the forum bandwidth costs.

Most ISP's give you some online space with even their most basic acounts. But you have to be able to figure out how to access it. You'll need an FTP program like CuteFTP to upload files to your webspace.

Check your ISP's website, they ought to have the details there.

It's a bit out of date, I think it was taken in 2000, but I'm still pretty much the same. I have long hair, you can't really tell in the pic. And yes, I'm blind as a bat. Those glasses I'm wearing had been repaired multiple times, see the tape?
