Ирония судьбы или С легким паром! / Irony of fate or with light steam! "with light steam" lol!! this must be the worst translation ever hehe the movie's a classic though. you won't find a single old Russian who doesn't like it
Well, I haven't seen any of those films except for Alexander Nevsky and Solaris, but I really enjoyed Andrei Rublev
I've seen most of those mentioned in the first post, I adore them to death. But how else do you translate "s legkim parom?" I dare those who laughed to try it themselves. I infinity dare them. Will not attempt unless I see results from others first.
meaning of "arome" is obscure; if you can define it better.... the definition i found does not relate to the theme of the original statement. also, the original expression is a common one among russians; the expression you came up with would rarely be mentioned among common people. try again. hot and gentle.... nc. I try again: with hot and gentle steamy touch Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! argh, forget it

she's a girl dancing in silk like in india on the surface of lotus tea, just a bit more than vapour in reality. you can drink and she's dancing in you, a ghost of the mist in a cup of tea, a dancer in silk. vapour dancer (c) 2004 [this night] Avatar
The best Russian war flick, which happened to be the best war flick I've ever seen is called "Edye e Smotre," which I thinks translates to "Come and See." Absolutely horrific.
Not necessarily a Russian film, but "Ninotchka" with the part of the stolid, stiff lipped Russian bitch Ninotchka played by beautiful Garbo.
I've recently started to translate my actors pages, so far Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, Aleksandr Abdulov, Yevgeni Leonov. Tell me what you think. If you like it. I'll do my best to translate the rest.
hey everyone, this isnt to do with films, but here goes i read some tom clancy about america vs Russia, it was heavily biased and the Americans always won, do the Russians have a Tom Clancy equivelent??? whats his name and what books has he published? thanks lots btw, i dont speak russian, so it'd help if the books have been translated into English
