Well, I haven't seen any of those films except for Alexander Nevsky and Solaris, but I really enjoyed Andrei Rublev

I've seen most of those mentioned in the first post, I adore them to death.

But how else do you translate "s legkim parom?" I dare those who laughed to try it themselves. I infinity dare them. Will not attempt unless I see results from others first.

meaning of "arome" is obscure; if you can define it better.... the definition i found does not relate to the theme of the original statement. also, the original expression is a common one among russians; the expression you came up with would rarely be mentioned among common people. try again.

    hot and gentle.... nc.

    1) "congratulations with the completion of a shower"

    2) "happy post-shower"

    3) "good shower"

    4) "hopefully you didn't drop the soap"

she's a girl dancing in silk
    like in india
on the surface of lotus tea,
just a bit more than vapour in reality.

    you can drink
    and she's dancing in you,
    a ghost of the mist
    in a cup of tea,
    a dancer in silk.

The best Russian war flick, which happened to be the best war flick I've ever seen is called "Edye e Smotre," which I thinks translates to "Come and See."

    Absolutely horrific.

Not necessarily a Russian film, but "Ninotchka" with the part of the stolid, stiff lipped Russian bitch Ninotchka played by beautiful Garbo.

I've recently started to translate my actors pages,
so far Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, Aleksandr Abdulov, Yevgeni Leonov.
Tell me what you think. If you like it. I'll do my best to translate the rest.
