Just a humorous note. On CNN, a pundit--Begala, I think--just made the joke of the day. Regarding Al Gore's endorsement of Howard Dean, he said, "We can now say that Al Gore has lost his home state twice."
Kerry. He used to be my second pick. I was liking Clark for a while, until he said some stupid shit about a flag burning amendment, his position on gun control (as if it matters), and Michael Moore endorsing him. Also, he was never liked in the military, because he was a very political officer, rather than a fraternal one.

I voted Dean, he's out of the whole thing after one little scream, which is sort of stupid, but for a while there I was really excited. When kerry wins (and he will) I won't be all that sad, I mean hell, better him than Bush another term with Bush after all. But I'll still have to fantasize about killing him for not supporting homosexual marriage. We'll have to wait and see who he chooses as his running mate, maybe things could work out after all.
Voted Dean here. The netwerks could have maintained better ratings for Dem primaries if they hadn't so successfully hyped the Dean Scream. Now they have seemingly channeled the well-domesticated herd into one corral. If there is no significant upset in the Kerry stampede, I'll be grudgingly chewing the same cud as the Dem mainstream, even though I'll gag on the more disgusting re-feed. Kerry lacks the necessary understanding IMO that is necessary for diffusing the growing Mideast threat: "John Kerry Believes that history and our own best interests demand that the United States maintain a steady policy of friendship and support for Israel. As the only true democracy in the Middle East, Israel is our most important ally, and a critical partner in the quest for peace and security in this troubled region. America’s longstanding commitment to Israel’s independence and survival must never waver." Every Mideast initiative a future President Kerry might pursue would be ******** by this prejudice. Kerry if true to his platform could help to extricate the US from some Bushevik blunders, but will doubtfully produce any viable progress or solutions to the central Palestinian issue by perpetuating blind favoritism for Israel. I like Kerry's energy/environment platform. On taxes , he has a centrist Republican platform, with tax relief for the middle class. While I like the sound of that, I would prefer to see Bushevik deficit spending reversed first. I like him on trade, but for the fact that he has special interests so far up his arse that, as Governor Dean put it, "we've got more than one Republican in the race", to which I can only add my own "Yeeaarrrgh", but a more angry one than Dean's.

There are 113 views on this thread as of this writing and only 16 people have voted. That is a 14% voting rate. That is horrible! Why don't people vote? This is mirroring real-life elections. These elections are being decided by a few people. As an example, take a fucking look at Washington state's primary this year. 0.7% people voted. That's right, less than 1% of registered voters in that state. Doesn't this alarm anyone?!

I voted Kerry cause he's got a alot of medals and I'm hoping he has a "Nam" flashback in a Kerry/Bush debate during which he'll review in depth, Bush's national guard service.

I have a few issues with Cthulhu here: 1. When the orgies of pleasure and killing take place, how does Cthulhu plan to deal with the AIDs issue? Surely it will run rampant. 2. Are we still allowed to vote, or is government regulated by the elite representatives of the old ones? 3. Do we remain distinct and seperate nations or one global order?
