High-Score-Players do you use some scheme? eg. I have discovered that the squares move every run the same cq . very quickly after the start go down and wait a second then move to the upper left corner and you can stay there full 5 seconds...

LOL. at work: 131.2 seconds first try (k6-2/550) at home: 21 seconds tops after around 100 tries. (athlon 1.33Ghz) yeah, computer speed is the thing.

My son 12 y (good in games) gets 22.000. The PC must be of the last generation, othewise it's slow and game is too easy, but I do not think it runs more quick on very quick PC's) (You can make the movements to run slower on a fast pc (in the program) but you cannot make them run quicker than the capacity of any given PC) it runs slow/ stands still on my Celeron 1ghz laptop it runs normal on Athlon 2400+ and P4 2.53 (my son alternates the last two PCs frequently and the results on both are appr. the same) It would be interesting to compare it with 3000 + PC's has anybody run it on such machine?
I don't know what your son is doing, but from my observations with three computers, speed is a HUGE factor. If you won't take my word for it, just consider wesmorris' monster score with that slow cpu.
