New Delhi - A 7 year old boy hung himself, totally convinced that Shaktimaan, an immensely popular tv-superhero would rescue him. His brother also very much in the Shaktimaan hype injured himself jumping off a small building thinking he could fly just like shaktimaan as have several other kids.

Also some kid borrowed daddies car and parked it against a tree, he was found wearing a Shaktimaan cape...

Boy, I sure hope they don't release Dragonball Z in India.

Or the World Wrestling Federations TV program, imagine what that would do to them!

Yes, they should have told those kids to believe in something real, like a bland uncaring god who doesn't save them from themselves!

I heard stories about this kind of garbage in the US as well, it's nothing new.

dragon ball z wouldnt be all that bad.
what could they do? meditate for hours and then cry when they are still incapable of shooting magic balls from the fingers?

Teach them about the Old Ones and give each of them a metallic pentacle of the Elder Gods.
See how long it takes them to devise cacophonious incantations and solstitial rituals to protect themselves from their cruel and insatiable masters.
They might even give human sacrifice a go.

WWF was in India years and years back.
This incident happened a while back.
