I dont know what posessed me to do this but today I went snowboarding... I swear every inch on my body felt numb. It's pretty cold here (TO,Canada) but it's been colder. My cousin's heater broke and I pitty her (but not as much as the guy that lives at the top of the mountain). I think us Canadians are just so dumb most of the time that despite the disgustingly cold weather we still go out there and have some innocent fun. Well maybe not innocent, I smashed into a fence today. Eek

Nice boots cosmic. Take a look at my Steger moosehide mukluks. They're incredibly warm; they allow your foot to flex (which helps circulate blood), and they're as comfortable as a pair of well-worn bedroom slippers. Expensive, but worth every cent.

They even look better than the UGG boots although they both will keep your feet warm.

Oh joy! I'm getting a little annoyed with this cold weather. I don't mind the cold as much as I mind the wind though. -30 is fine, as long as there ain't a wind.

Hrrrm...well, I have mediocre temperature here. Nothing like that hammock cosmictraveler's been sitting in, but nothing like that hut that orthogonal's been stuck in. :bugeye:

    Well, think warm thoughts.

Think warm thoughts. Hmmm... yes that was what I was thinking the other day when my car got stuck in a foot and a half of snow. I think I forgot about the warm thoughts when I remembered someones long forgotten-August-given advice: Buy A Shovel. I was outside my car for at least half an hour trying to dig out my car with my window scraper. There are people in their apartment buildings laughing at me- and I'm in my car yelling at them to 'buy a TV!' - but I am sure that it was an amusing site- especially when i tried to push my car in neutral (I am prolly 105 lb girl) -cars are a lot heavier than they look!
-now can someone please remind me to go buy a shovel?
