Did NZ ever ban Kingpin? Or Hitman: Codename 47? etc.

I doubt it.....probably didn't get as much publicity. Also the kids there can just download the game from the internet.

no i think one reason they did not bann hitman was because i was a really good game espeacuily hitman 2. But the other game i never heard of codename 47 i've heard of Kingpin

Yeah..the government doesn't really care about the quality and overall fun factor of the game when they ban...it usually works along the lines of the content that is present in the game.

If things did work the other way though then all Tomb Raider games after TR2 would have been banned.

Are censors tougher on the console versions, as younger people usually have them?
Is there going to be a PC version?

The game Kingpin was supposedly ultraviolent, it received a R rating and apparently sold well.
I'm not a believer in videogames altering people's ethical disposition, that's accomplished by parents, teachers and peers, and the better that group is, the better you turn out.

Soldier of Fortune recieved the same humble treatment of being banned in some countries. I wouldn't be surpirsed if Doom III met with same opposition.
