I thought I'd start a thread on the man that got my unions vote. I don't understand why they backed him instead of Wesley Clark or another Dem.

Trade is apparently his main issue:

I thought I'd just point out that he got the Teamster vote. Being a teamster myself, I can say that I'm not voting for him because I know nothing about him.

All I know about Dick is that his father was a teamster (A milkman).

Does he support the war in Iraq?
Is he going to end that war?
What's his stance on the Kyoto Treaty?
Why did my union back him?

    EDIT: Spell checked this text.

I must say that I find Gephardt to be the most "presidential" of the Democratic candidates. I'll go out on a limb here and predict that he wins the nomination.

    Gephardt is not winning anything.

lets just hope that a Clark/Edwards or a Kerry/Clark ticket or any combination of that kind can be put together, and the Dean wing of the democratic party can be rightfully rounded up and individually shot in the face at point blank range so we never have to expierance their destructive buggery again.

the country is going to hell man. I think that Gephardt better do something about the econemy and somthing about this Homeland Security, and this OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM booo. Im only a teenager but I think out of all the democratic delegates Dick Gephardt is the only one of them that stands a chance. I also I think that no one is going to vote for a diffrent president during a war cough i mean Oil War.

    Homeland security aka Fatherland Security.

Well have you been to a airport lately? A line that use to be maybe a few people at a metal detector has gone to about 100 people at one thing. Also Homeland security and others are taking away are freedom of speech you cant talk the way you could before Homeland security , you cant even act the same way as you could before Homeland Security.

May I also ask CounslerCoffee how is it that my statements are false. I really whould like to know

Albume, my statement of "false hood", was about your statement on the economy. Which I promptly posted on.

However, I have no problems/opinions on the rest of your post.

Dear God, I am tore right now...

Albume, that line at the airport has always been really, really, really; freakin long.

I would rather stay in line for four hours and then be held up on a plane (Unlikely), then be in line for thrity seconds and then be held up on a plane (unlikely).

Good judgement passes over my head right now.

    airport

So you whould like to be in line from one end of the airport to another? Hmmm Intersting. I forgot to bring up another little but big detail on my first topic of Airport security stuff. They did a pat down, shoe check and a wand thing on a decent looking 10 year old...hmmm...

My last post was merely to point out this:

I want to be safe, no matter what the cost.

Now I know that a terrorist attack, on a plane, out in Kentucky somewhere; is very unlikely. However, I do fear for others, so I say that the lines are justified. More security = safer flights.

    *Fucking tore*
