one raven, it went away after i finished the sentence.... but the full paragraph (very poorly written) is :: In the fiscal year of 2002, President Bush increased spending for Special Projects of Regional and National Significance, or SPRANS. SPRANS is a program which only allows the teaching of abstinence until marriage. Currently this program has exclusive use of over 130 million dollars to teach just that. Do nothing till you get married. They even go as far as to bar the teaching of safe sex, leaving the children completely unexposed to generally accepted methods of prevention. In other words, nothing is going to completely stamp out underage sex, so we should at least keep it safe.
Very interesting....however, I've learned not to trust the squiggly lines. DOWN WITH THE SQUIGGLY LINES!
May be the word was highlighted because it wasn't the proper way of finishing the sentence. Which leads to another interesting question: what kinds of errors are highlighted by the grammar check in word processor?
They usually use two colors, one for the spellcheck, one for the gammar. I suppose that the grammar check convinced the spellcheck that "only" was not the word, and so it marked it as wrong, but that's unlikely. Sometimes spellchecks do that. Don't knwo why.
I do not trust squiggly lines because they are crooked. And we all know crooked people are bad! Therefore, squiggly lines are BAD! I am good at logical reasoning, can't you all see?
I think it should be '...that only...', but if it is a grammar problem then it should be a green line, not a red one, so I don't know what's going on there.
fafnir, it apears you have the christmas virus. it is a terrible trojan style virus that changes all your green pixels into red onse, and vice versa. you must now run nortan antivirus and proceed to whipe your entire hardrive. if you fail to do this by december 25th then the virus will be spread via email to evryone on the planet with the subject "hot preteen lolita lesbians suck dick" in the email! quickly, for no one can resist opening an email with the word 'lesbian' in the subject! for the sake of the entire internet, heed my warnings!
