The KKK is based on belief, not religion, as someone mentioned. If you think it is only Christians, you're even dumber than a rock. Go to www.stormfront.org and check the forums and articles. You'll find a number of atheists there, and you get people from anarchists to communists too. The only thing that make them KKK is that they share a common belief that the Aryan race is supposedly superior to other races, and that they don't want to mix. The majority of them are not violent, and don't hate other non-white races, but they just want to distance themselves.
