i want to sell my refridgerator this weeknd in my garage sale but to not know how to get it out of the kitchen. we screwed it into the wall when we moved and now it is stuck. maybe i should rip out part of the wall and sell that with it for a little more than i was originally going to ask. any suggestions?
i'd advertise the refrigerator for sale, then have interested customers walk into your house to see it, then have them buy it, then tell them they've got to move it themselves, then hope they don't take half of your wall with them.. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
How does one "screw in a refridgerator" to the wall? I've never heard that being done before. Why not PAY someone to come over and PROFESSIONALLY remove it? If YOU can't figure out how to remove it perhaps someone else can. I wouldn't tear any walls down before having a PROFESSIONAL look at it first. It could cost you more to fix the hole than you'll make on the refridgeerator.
If you want serious advice, do have people look at it in your house, if the sale is soon, but like cosmictraveler said...get someone to professionally take it out.
Oh my god, what has the world come too. I swear how dumb can one be too screw a refrigerator into a wall. I am going to have to go with choose C and say that you should rip the wall with it and sell it as installation art.
It depends on where exactly he lives. In an earthquake prone area, it would be a good idea, keep it from falling on someone. Why can't you just unscrew the screws?
*resisting making snotty coment. resisting making snotty coment. resisting making snotty coment* *whew* .... if you cant say somthing snotty dont say anything at all.
...or what if he's a stumbling drunk. Maybe it's screwed to the wall because he has a tendancy to pull large appliances over on himself after he comes home from a night of drinking. Good thinking dribbler!
dribbler i assume you do not have any experience in these type of things however assuming that the fridge was skrewed onto the wall unless some type of drop screw thread lock or (i forget the technical name) skrew that jams itself into the wall and binds with it so it can not be unscrewed without removing a surrounding amount of wall material are used then you should be able to remove it with little effort or the easyest if unsure is to just drill out the screws that can be fun for practice as long as your using someone elses drill bits Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! good luck
