I bought some new equipment and stuff, and some new desighns (mainly tribal),i have been doing em on and off on my legs for practice over the last 6 months or so since i got equiptment, this is my 10th attempt, didnt turn out too bad, although overworking the skin is a problem for me at the moment,as you can see by the picture (which i took when i finnished it) i done this a couple of days ago

You are a brave man for using your leg as a practice canvas.

Ive got a guy comming round tommorow and he wants me to tattoo a heart, banner and wifes name,i got a desighn for him and he says "sure lets go for it"
he'll be my first victim,i did warn him that this is early in my road to be a proper tattooist, but he seemed not to care, wants the desighn and said "we'll i used to be againts em,but i dont care much now im getting on in life" hes close to 60 years old!.

Im still anxious about it,sorta like i wanna do it,but i dont wanna do it kinda thing, should be ok its not a super hard desighn, not like that fucking tribal on my leg with its long lines, takes alot of skill, its like drawing and tracing(theres a stencil for outline) except its like you got a gun held to your head cos you cant make any mistakes, some mistakes can be hidden and you learn ways of making errors but hiding em in the desighn though.

As soon as i think about the permanence of what im gonna be doing,i freak out and my stomach sinks,my stomach turns when i think about it,when he arrives ive gotta suck in some air,put on a confident smile (even if im on the verge of a nervous breakdown) and do the best i can, thats all you can do.

    Nice work doom.
Maybe you could just cut off your scar tissue slave.Might work?
Or maybe even make a tatoo using scars. That would be cool.
Probly a little more painful though.
    Just a suggestion.
    Peace Out

If the scars are more than a few years old and are WHITE and flat then its not a problem, its when you got keloids and raised tissue is when the ink wont stay.

you should go to the pound and pick up some animals, then shave them and practice on them.

my quality is improving and im learning stuff every tattoo i lay.

It cost me 5.00 to put a tattoo on my arm many years ago and 3,000.00 to remove it. They are very hard to remove so remember that your going to have to look at them for the rest of your life. What you think is cool today eventually will become uncool as you grow older , then it's to late to remove them without very high expenses. The tattoos you have look very professional and I hope you like them for the next 60 to 70 years.

    Re: doom

If you cant live with your decisions that your problem, you could have got it covered up with another tattoo for £100,why spend 3000?

I dont agree with tattoo removal, sorry tattoos are permanent and thats the way they should stay,if there was no tattoo removal available people would make better decisions knowing they are stuck with it till they are put into the fucking ground.

Ive already got a bunch of shit where ive tattooed my legs, some of it is crap where i was learning, but its too bad,i knew that when i started doing em,i just suck it up and get on with the rest of my life,if i become a tattooist they will have been worth it.

They were also worth it to see the smile on that guys face when i finnished his tattoo, had i not practiced his tattoo would look like shit.

i have a scar that was an accident with candle wax but it is shaped like a butterfly. it is white and raised. you say ink wouldn't stay there? i was thinking of having it outlined and having butterfly wing veins drawn in. turn something ugly into something beautiful.
