Jason Vorhees comes from the 'Friday the 13th' series. I think there were around 7 or 8 movies. Kevin Bacon was in the 2nd or 3rd I seem to remember. The last one before Jason X sets up the movie - An image of Jasons mask on the floor and then krugers hand comes out the ground and pulls it in the ground and laughs. But for this to be viable as Jason is in the physical world, Kruger will have to be dragged out the dream world again
Half the movie is set in the physical world and half in the "nightmare" world I believe. Freddy can now participate in the physical world because the consumption of fear that Jason embarked allowed him too or something like that.
If the movies does good, which it likely won't (it'll probably take mediocre earnings), then they both win because it'll have inevitable sequel.
they really shouldnt make a sequel to this... maybe ressurrect the original movies or something, but not a jason vs. freddy 2...thats retarded. another thing retarded is the name for this movie. wtf? its so shitty i cant even complain about it
It'll be interesting to see what happens. Jason can't be killed for more than one episode, and Freddy's already dead.

Who was bouncing up and down with joy when they heard that this movie was being made? I mean, honestly, who is this films target audience. . . it's kind of like "Tremors the series" in that respect. . . who could really muster any enthusiasm about going to see this film?
