Im canadian so my general dislike (more like unease really) of guns is kinda built into us but i have to say ive fired a few large guns in my day and to my shock, shoot'n stuff is really fun. it just is and i defy anyone whos tried it to deny that. The only problem i have with gun owners is when they shoot things that are alive and don't eat them (killing stuff just for entertainment). Then there's handguns, as fun as they are, i have trouble finding a good justification for having them at all. Aside from killing other people and their ability to be concealed they serve no purpose a rifle or shotgun couldn't do just as well. The societal cost seems too high when weighed against their small benefits. so, as your constitution says, you have every right to protect your family and belongings from the king of england but I truly don't see how handguns can help anyone (in the long run) but a criminal. just a thought from the middle.
