    Gold?

    power?

    fun?

    pride?

    family?

what if it were based on people?

every person on the planet earns enough when they turn 18 to afford half a house. The first marriage earns you 10,000 more. but it is illegal for parents to profit from their children or tell them they will have money before they are 18.

this allows for college to be obtained and a higher efficiency of overall human life.

Otherwise we are stuck with an increasing amount of people with an increasing cost at a steady amount of money.

Rather than solidifying supply and demand between what it costs to live and how much you can produce.

Of course school would be completely altered to create, program, and (most well paid) maintain machines. Machine maintenance causes the most casualties and injuries.

There are no taxes. Machines have completely taken over agriculture. Moving the best malorganite to the driest areas…

Hard work and exercise pays more than knowledge because it is better for you than knowledge alone because all knowledge is known.

Hard workers have more to pay healthcare workers.

Hospitals no longer rely on gov handouts and just have to use them to save lives.

Hmmm. We are not far! But we could be so much further in the blink of an eye.

The people who attend it. The baseline is half a house at average cost of a house.

I mean who is it that needs to be paid in some different manner anyways?

It is based on people. Whatever people agree money is worth, that's what it is worth. If everyone abandons it (like, say, they did for cryptocurrency) then it is worth nothing. If everyone thinks it's valuable (like, say, gold) then it is worth a lot.

How do you get every person on the planet to agree to your plan?

Have a vote of only those turning 18 and tell them their vote would only affect those turning 18 next year.

Let's say everyone all over the world wants to do it except the US, where no one wants to do it.

    What then?

Is ownership of land any different from ownership of people? A geologist will tell that the land was there for thousands of years before people showed up.

So the economic power game is a continuation of the military power game by other means.

Why hasn't accounting/finance been mandatory in the schools since Sputnik?

What constitution of what country would even permit such a vote?

That is certainly is a biased viewpoint. If everyone in the world wanted to do it they would do it. I doubt they would. Wouldn’t make a young man or woman rich… or even out income inequality.

You could even give them more when they turn 33… make age increase your standard of living. You know an overall goal to life that keeps people working, living, and eating healthy instead of stealing.

and keep the Uber rich involved in stealing life.

Money is a proxy for value/worth, i.e. it is an equivalence for something being supplied or demanded.
The only way to remove something equivalent is to remove the value/worth of the service/product.

ST:TNG did it via the replicator that effectively turned everything other than material gain into just a matter of energy, and energy was basically free.

?? I expressed no viewpoint. I asked a question. Can you answer it? ("No" is a perfectly valid answer.)
It makes about as much sense as the "you know, the government could just give everyone $10,000 a year and end poverty!" plan.

I have been to the Twitter website five times - twice by accident and twice while googling people I know. (I was glad to find that neither of them had tweeted anything in several years.)

I have never heard that Twitter was a national constitution.

Nope… telling someone their life is worth X amount of dollars should just help us maintain that amount of dollars.

Well it is a constitutional issue since Elon musk took control….

You mean a freedom-of-speech issue? Still has nothing to do with a vote.

You said in post#7, "Have a vote of only those turning 18 and tell them their vote would only affect those turning 18 next year."

How are you going to vote Musk out?

What have you decided a person's life is worth, then?

Well people decide for themselves what life is worth in a free country. But half a house I suppose would keep young people from becoming criminals
