It's a ubiquitous internet meme thats been around since 2007. To Rickroll someone is to direct them to an ostensibly legit location but they find themselves instead confronted with some iteration of Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up'. You were directing me to a location. If you were a prankster of a certain age, you might have thought it funny pull a bait-n-switch and Rickroll me instead. It was a throw-away joke of mine that turned out to be a dud.
