Is it Ethical to raise everyone's IQ on this Planet to 180?

My Life Long Hobby of wanting to become a Smarter Person may now be Baring Fruit. I may have devised a: Safe; Free; Rapid and Eco Friendly way to make all the People on Earth into bona fide, 180 IQ Geniuses. I only mention this because it's what led me onto this Ethical Dilemma.

For now, I have stopped myself from continuing this Project, because I'm getting increasingly worried about the ramifications this would have on Society. The Phrase 'Ignorance is Bliss' does, after all, Exist.

Let's say I hypothetically have and go from there.

 

I'd have to say that, hypothetically, you don't understand how IQ is measured.

 

I'm proposing a Device which, after being used, would make every user able to score 180 IQ on IQ tests. (We need not get caught up in the Semantics)

 

Is it a Device that contains the answers to the test?

 

The Device is a Book. After you read and understand it, your IQ goes up to 180.

I'm keeping the contents of the Book a Secret because I don't want to let the 'Genie out of the Bottle' before I learn weather or not, if it's an Ethical thing to do so.

Edit:- If this unethical, I will keep the 'Genie in the Bottle'.

 

Why would it be unethical (unless done against people's will, of course)?
But a few things to bear in mind:
- IQ only measures a certain type of intelligence
- Intelligence and wisdom are different attributes (ask any D&D player!

- Isn't this what education tries to do - increase one's intelligence through nuture (accepting the notion that nature also might play a part)?

So maybe you can say what you think would be unethical about it?

Everyone suddenly capable of doing most Jobs (Able to learn new Jobs fast and efficiently), but most stuck doing Minimal Wage.

The list goes on.

Well there will certainly be more People capable of doing higher up Positions stuck in Minimal Jobs if I finished this Book, possibly causing more Civil unrest.

They will Capitalize less so. They'll be better at Grammar than ever before. Of course I haven't finished the Book, I've had a crisis of conscience about what this could do to Humankind.

On my journey to creating this book, my own IQ has risen at an alarming (Relative) rate to my before IQ. I have something truly powerful at my grasp and I don't know if the world wants me to open 'Pandora's box'. I have halted its production and trembled at its power. I don't know what to do.
