Not at all. Those people then go from terrorists, to liberators back to terrorists instantly.

I am glad those terrorists fought against a repressive government back in 1775. I am sure if you had been around back then you would have been condemning them with the same anger and arrogance that you employ today. "Nothing but terrorists and vandals who destroy tea that belongs to other people! Nothing but common criminals."
Stage 3 of Angry Ape losing an argument - attempt to redefine words.
    Trump speaking to cops:

"Please don't be too nice. Like when you guys put somebody in the car and you're protecting their head, you know the way you put their hand so they don't hit their head and they've just killed somebody ... you can take that hand away. When you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon -- you just see them thrown in. Rough!"

Cops took his instructions to heart. And they have learned to be "rough."

That speech was in July of 2017 and he was speaking on the MS-13 gang, who is often public in its violence. Infanticide and femicide are common, with El Salvador hosting the third-highest femicide rate in the world. Are you a professional violent crimes apologist?

Yep. This has been building for a long time.
Also yes. And there are much worse people out there. But if you tell cops to treat everyone that way, then they sometimes take that to heart.
    Are you off your meds?

Homeland security may be coming to its senses. Agreement with governor - feds stay inside federal building, local police patrol outside.

Oooh! The perpetrator-in-chief won't like yet another agency siding with the law instead of him!

Uh oh. The right wingers here will be VERY VERY angry now that Trump's shock troops can't gas protesters any more!

I followed that approach after his first dozen attacks or so. Then I gave up.

Don’t be so defensive. I simply pointed out your habitual disingenuousness contextomy and rightly so.

And I noted that anyone who thinks a "professional violent crimes apologist" is a real thing might need some reconnection to reality, pharmaceutically enhanced or not.

I find these arguments requiring police to be too emotionally-driven to be reliable enforcers of the law among the most curious defenses of police misconduct.

You present an argument by which the best thing for society would be to defund police departments, issue new public safety charters, and forbid anyone who worked in law enforcement before then to hold any of those jobs. I mean, we're talking the kind general disqualification I wouldn't otherwise expect to be on the table. But, hey, at least we can finally get around to worrying about femicide while justifying police misconduct.

Because, y'know, in the States, cops have such a great history with women. It's a perfect relationship, y'know; feminists are always telling cops, "We're so amazed at how you do your jobs!"

No, a change of power, even temporarily, is what distinguishes terrorist from revolutionary. You're either playing dumb or not playing at all. You either can't help conflate terms , because you literally don't comprehend the difference, or you're playing stupid, and thus undermining your own rhetorical point.

Again, for like the third time, a revolution entails a change in power, while terrorism does not. Democrats never lost power in cities with rioting.

hyperbole - exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally.
Hence, false hyperbole is "exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally".
    Your comprehension continues to underwhelm.

I guess you overlooked the "they've just killed somebody" part, much less the MS-13 context. But we all know how you lie about, and intentionally obscure, context.

    Gibberish. Here: https://www.thefreedictionary.com/Parts-of-Speech.htm
(Why are these wingnuts always illiterate, and always trying to sound like they think educated people sound?)
    - - - - -
The MS-13 "context" was just Trump lying about stuff.
MS-13 itself was a consequence of US Republican drug war racism, btw - including cops beating on black and brown people they were supposed to be legitimately arresting.

The "they've just killed somebody" was the typical bizarre wingnut missing the point again - the police are always arresting people who may have committed a crime, and no one else, one hopes. The police are supposed to be treating them as innocent, as citizens of the country, regardless. That's kind of important. If you allow the police to beat on people they claim to think have committed a crime, you are allowing them to beat on anyone - you are creating a police State.

The "they've just killed somebody" label should be stuck on the bumper of every tank in Nathan Road, Red Square and the West Bank : it's the excuse all repressive regimes use to "crack down" on whomever they perceive as a threat to their power.
BTW, any resemblance between a strategy and whatever issues from the Trumpian mouth is purely coincidental: he just says whatever he thinks the vociferous yahoos will cheer at any given moment, and its exact opposite the next. Luckily for him, they'll cheer that, too.

I love how you have so little defense for your positions that your go-to is always "it's out of context! You have to look back 13 lines to this one word he said that makes his meaning unclear - and once you read that word, I can reinterpret what he said!"

As I've mentioned before, one of the truly funny comeuppances we've been seeing lately is the regular event where Trump himself throws all the Trump apologists under the bus. He did it as recently as today. Yesterday he tweeted that it might be a good idea to delay the election, and his apologists immediately jumped on board saying "why do Democrats want to have the election during COVID? They've all been saying to stay home. HYPOCRITES! An on-time election would not be fair, so of course Democrats support it"

The Fighting 101st Keyboarders were then promptly thrown under the bus when Trump announced today ""Do I want to see a date change? No."

    (Here's your cue to say " . . . but the . . . context . . .")

    It isn't luck.

    It's forty years of
rightwing-authoritarian-mythbased-militaristic-strongman-loving faction-that-cannot-be-named due to Republican PC media influence
    power-base building.

It's what you get when Thurston Howell III and his pals at the Club decide that for an extra percentage of tax cuts and the freedom to trash their home nation for profit they will organize the fundies, bigots, and sadistic imbeciles of America into a unified and infinitely reprogrammable meatbag of voters and thugs and psychos they can turn loose on the liberals and their little illusions of "democracy" and the "common good" and "self-evident rights".

Credit where credit is due - they put in the work, the hundreds of millions of dollars, and the decades of time; they are on the brink of success.

Do you really think that because I made the mistake of using 'disingenuousness' instead of 'disingenuous' discounts my criticism of billvon’s quote mining? But you still expect us to vote for a candidate that can’t even put two sentences together.

None of this takes away from the peaceful protests over racial inequalities having been hijacked by violent rioters, looters, arsonists, and murderers. The protester's extreme display of violence is drowning out any illicit behavior by police.

    (quote mining)
    from a portland resident:
“Somebody needs to save us, help us. It should be the role of government officials to make sure citizens are safe in the place they live,” said Sulimani. “Any one of us—if not me then my neighbors—could have been dead last night.”
