I suspect Tony's paper will only be published if he pay for it.
I hope that magazine makes it clear to readers that it's a PAID ad.

Nature:“Manuscript received" , this state has continued for 4 working days.

There are already 2 PhDs in physics in the United States who have read my paper and they say that my derivation is correct.

If I publish my paper here now, will it affect the publication in nature?

You should read Nature's submission guidelines.

I understand nature's policy. This is not the first time I have contributed to nature. But it is true that I lack experience. Can you provide me Nature's submission guidelines link?
Are you talking about this link? https://www.nature.com/nphys/for-authors

I found some information. Manuscripts submitted to nature cannot be published on the Internet in advance. @ James R, thanks for your reminder.

Preparing the ground for the Galileo Gambit, I see, as predicted in post 38.

Who was that guy who used to end every outlandish post with "Thanks for your consideration"?

Yes, I recall that, now that you mention it, but can't find the thread. Wasn't it one of Theorist's many incarnations?

I think Tony is a new crank, however, with a specific, nonsensical idee fixe. Theorist is, by his own admission on another forum, a psychiatric case (schizophrenia, I think it was.

I just assume they all are. I don't think QQ is catatonic however since he is able to communicate beyond the rocking of the head/body.

No indeed. But he more or less told us he gets visits from a geriatric psychiatric nurse. People with mild dementia typically come and go a bit, I believe. I suspect that may account for the, er, variability in quality of his contributions. (Nebel seems to be another ancient who's losing it, and I think Write4U is probably heading down the same track.

I concur with your diagnosis. How do you explain Tiassa?

    More of a puzzle.

Nor do I have a hypothesis to account for that weirdo that insists on communicating in a sort of mannered street dialect resembling "Jive", in "Airplane".

Tiassa reminds me of someone who thinks he is a talk show host so he broadcasts from his bedroom every evening while looking into the mirror even though there is no camera present.

Or maybe a newspaper editorialist who writes a column every day that no one reads because he doesn't actually work for a newspaper.

I think I know who you're talking about, but not 100% sure. I mean, about the sciforums guy, not the Airplane guy. I know him.

Tony: we don't need your constant updates: "Waiting... still waiting .... still waiting... It's been 9 days... It's been 13 days .... It's been 173 days... still waiting..." etc.

Just let us know when Nature rejects your paper, okay?
