Some people seem to think they can't tell my position on topics I post to. I really doubt this, but here's a place to ask me anything. It seems the main problem is that people are so eager to air their opinions that they rarely ask any questions. Or when they do, they refuse to accept any answers but the ones they like.

Do you not know my opinion on UFOs being space aliens?
Do you not know my opinion of the 2nd amendment?
Do you mot know my opinion of minimum wage?

I think I've expressed these fairly clearly, even to the point of having others arguing the counter opinion quite vigorously. So I'm stumped.

    Ask away. Earn bananas.

That's a bit like asking, "Do you know my opinion of ice cream?" People who like it tend to take it for granted that everybody does, so they don't ask. So what don't you like about minimum wage?

I believe in the second amendment, as specified by Heller. Defense of the lives of yourself and loved ones is a very basic human right. When seconds count, the police are minutes away. As such, I'm for nationwide reciprocity, but I'm only for constitutional carry because it doesn't penalize the poor and it moves the goalpost that much further from gun-grabbing leftists.

Most of the Scandinavian countries touted as "socialist" ideals do not have a minimum wage. Voluntary participation in free markets is less coercive and thus less blameworthy than government intervention.

Socialist is the derogatory title you have given the Nordic countries. The have single payer health-care which you despise. But that sense of security allows the Scandinavians to engage in civilized business behaviors, instead of "doing unto others, before they do unto you" which has become the mantra of the new Capitalism in the US.

"Socialist" is the derogatory title Bernie Sander gave the Scandinavian countries. They have largely capitalist economies with private healthcare options. They have the benefit of not shouldering the burden for the their own security, and using that money to try out various welfare schemes, most of which they've already backed away from due to being unsustainable.

Do you think Biden can beat Trump?

And this is bad? I see no one backing away from bad Capitalist behaviors. There you go. Socialism is not a derogatory term as Sanders uses it. He (and Biden) support free markets, he (and Biden) also support a few social safety nets which prevent the moral burden of saying no to a person who, due circumstances, is in need of temporary public assistance.

How bizarre, you are citing an example of a "common" social benefit and at the same time giving a derogatory slant to the term, because you don't know the difference between a social contract of fundamental "equality" among the people and a competitive world where there are only winners and losers.

You sound just like the guy who shouted; "keep your government hands off my Medicare". Remember that? That's a mirror reflection of your logic.

Unless you are a millionaire, wait until your Medicare insurance is cancelled and you will need it due to old age. That's not a wish, that is merely fact. A few weeks in a hospital may cost you 100,000 dollars, most people's life savings. Then tell yourself of the great benefit of Capitalism without some social safety nets, which benefit all the people in a thriving economy, with plenty of excess wealth.

For your benefit. Trump has used some of your taxes for his own personal enrichment. Hey, that's Capitalism! How do you like that.
    Since then;

    There is your good guy.
His son just made 20 million dollar profit on tax legislation signed by Trump. All this in the first 3 years. You want another 4 years of this massive grift? Are you crazy????

If enough people get off the couch and vote. Then we have a chance to beat the Republican "rigged" voting system.
Last time a popular vote of 3 million more votes wasn't enough to beat the current "electorate system".

No, it's good thing that Scandinavian countries, that prospered on free market capitalism, have tried and are now backing away from many failed or unsustainable welfare schemes. They've learn that lesson for themselves, and they've repeatedly told Bernie (who likes to conflate them with countries like Venezuela, Cuba, etc.) that they are not socialist.
Competition is not a zero-sum game, and leftist "equality" has proven to be a massive governmental takeover. Anyone who uses the politics of jealousy to essentially buy votes with other people's money is a con artist. But lefties love them some jealousy.

No, emoluments is another unsubstantiated TDS symptom. Citing lefty sources doesn't help your credibility, nor help your out-of-the-bubble bone fides.
Luckily, you have plenty of people to commiserate with here. Consider yourself blessed.

Already working on the excuses for losing, huh?
