One can, and may only save itself. I think this is what keeps God as being apparently ignorant of human suffering as He doesn't save us, but truly the ignorance is our own.

Well, the matter or the theme of this thread is about being rescued from danger or harm; or on the contrary, people who saved/rescued someone. I meant both the literal or figuratively. You asked me what I like about that previous comment ... I liked that person intervened on this thread and expressed a thought.
