how many lives has anti biotics saved ?
NOTE not people, because many people have had their life saved several times by anti biotics.

so the total number of times a life has been saved by anti biotics ...
it must be quite a large number.

Right, but nothing of this would have been possible without the assistance, without the help of the people (typically, families) that care the sick person.

Yes. He went to the same church we went to. I don't know anything about his current status... this was over 50 years ago. He would probably be almost 90 now.

One can, and may only save itself. I think this is what keeps God as being apparently ignorant of human suffering as He doesn't save us, but truly the ignorance is our own.

Would you mind to explain your thought?

Excuse my impertinence. I have two questions:
    1. If you didn't understand it, what did you like about it?
    2. Is there any comment you don't like?

I do respect all comments, all thoughts.
I didn't understand what means "One can, and may only save itself".

Nor did I, which is why I asked what you like about it.

Well, the matter or the theme of this thread is about being rescued from danger or harm; or on the contrary, people who saved/rescued someone. I meant both the literal or figuratively.

You asked me what I like about that previous comment ... I liked that person intervened on this thread and expressed a thought.

you may need half a bottle of whiskey and some heavy metal poisoning and brain development issues to warm you up to the logic.
