The USA is talking about going back (or for you trying for the first time) to the moon. My question is, do you think that it is possible now to o to the moon or do you think the USA is starting another hoax?

Is it true that Buzz Aldrin admitted the Apollo 11 moon landing was fake? Sounds unlikely…

Origins: In November 2014, the Huzlers web site published an article recycling the old conspiracy theory that the moon landings were fake events staged on movie sets, claiming Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin had recently admitted to such:

One of the astronauts on the Apollo 11 mission, Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin, confirmed that the Apollo 11 missions were “fake” and that the videos of the mission are simply showing a setup that was created to simulate how the moon and space would look. “Apollo 11 was not real, none of it was” Buzz Aldrin said in a video he recorded confessing to the Apollo 11 hoax, “I am ashamed to say this but I cannot hide it anymore, it was a setup, like the ones they use in Hollywood films, back in the 60’s, the U.S. was competing with the Soviet Union to achieve space flight supremacy, which was known as the “space race”. We were afraid the Soviets would beat us to the moon so we decided to fake the moon landings of Apollo 11 to say we were greater than the Soviets” concluded Buzz.

Shortly thereafter links and excerpts referencing this article were being circulated via social media, with many of those who encountered the item mistaking it for a genuine news report. However, that article was just a spoof from Huzlers, a web site that offers users the ability to “Create your own news prank and trick your friends by sharing it” and has a history of publishing fabricated news stories (such as one about pop star Justin Bieber‘s admitting to being bisexual and one about the 2014 Super Bowl being rigged). The Huzlers site also carries a disclaimer on its pages noting that “Huzlers.com is a combination of real shocking news and satire news to keep its visitors in a state of disbelief.”

You're probably right. When a hoax-believing video or article has questionable stuff, it usually wasn't put together by real hoax-believers. It was probably put together by a public-relations firm hired by the government to work on damage-control. Stuff such as this discredits the hoax-believers.

Videos such as these were probably created by PR firms as part of their strategy to discredit the hoax-believer movement.


They use this strategy to try to discredit a lot of movements. Here's one on 9/11.

According to alternative sources once you get about three hundred and fifty miles high, you need two meters of lead shielding to keep from getting cooked. If this turns out to be true, walking around on the moon in a spacesuit is impossible so they can't carry out the kind of mission they're talking about.

I think they're going to talk about going back for a while and they'll later say the program is cancelled for lack of funding or something.

You're missing the point. They want people who aren't familiar with the hoax proof to equate people who believe in the hoax with people who believe there are mile-long space creatures swimming around in space and end up thinking that hoax-believers are flakes.

Their latest strategy has been to make people associate hoax-believers with people who think the earth is flat. Real hoax-believers don't believe such rubbish.

Implications for space travel

 

So they received approximately 1 REM of radiation. That is quite a lot of radiation to receive in 1 week. That is about 3 times the radiation I got in 4 years on a nuclear submarine. But that is still only 20% of the legal limit for radiation workers.

The mainstream is the worst place to get information on stuff such as this. I haven't taken a firm stand on the radiation issue as all I have is second-hand info. I'm not going to simply rule out the alternative info* because the mainstream info contradicts it.

First-hand: actual video of men walking on the moon.
Second-hand: some bozo hallucinates the flag waving
