Labor laws may vary from state to state, but federaly you can't fire someone based on race religion or sex. there was a thread a while ago ASKING that question has nothing to do with hating america (if any country was like that i would feel the same way) i will look it up but the responce i got went along the lines of "employers can do what they like unless they SAY they are an equal opitunity employer or they are goverment owned, private business can do as they please" i will see if i can find the thread latter shouldnt be too hard was posted in ethics
