As you have made plain, it is our duty to shine light on the ignorant. If everything out of your mouth is a lie, I owe it to readers to point it out. Besides, why go for the middle man? Go for the source. If you don't post, the whole problem goes away. See how effective your style of discourse is? We're able to close the thread, since no one is going to post!
No..I will still freely post the evidence. That's my right as a forum member. People can respond or not respond as they see fit.
No one reading this thread thinks that you are the truthful one in this exchange - no matter how much of a hero you think you are.
Oh but you do, especially when the evidence is overwhelming, and what's your best word, oh compelling Love the word compelling And when we don't take your word all hell breaks loose And why is taking word a one way street? It seems to be strange that something as simple as watching a paranormal show and checking if a disclaimer is present (actual physical evidence) would be easy Oh that's right you have watched hundreds but never seen any disclaimer If paranormal shows were available where I live I would provide a screen shot Alas that option not open to me Others might have a opportunity So the article is not good enough? What would it take to convince you some paranormal programs have disclaimers? I will try to oblige Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Heh. Just stumbled across this: In June 2008, Ghost Hunters was awarded The Truly Terrible Television (TTTV) Award by Independent Investigations Group for peddling pseudoscience and superstition to its audience. - and - According to investigator Benjamin Radford, most ghost hunting groups including TAPS make many methodological mistakes. "After watching episodes of Ghost Hunters and other similar programs, it quickly becomes clear to anyone with a background in science that the methods used are both illogical and unscientific". Anyone can be a ghost investigator, "failing to consider alternative explanations for anomalous ... phenomena", considering emotions and feelings as "evidence of ghostly encounters." "Improper and unscientific investigation methods", for example, "using unproven tools and equipment", "sampling errors", "ineffectively using recording devices" and "focusing on the history of the location...and not the phenomena." In an article for Skeptical Inquirer, Radford concludes that ghost hunters should care about doing a truly scientific investigation: "I believe that if ghosts exist, they are important and deserve to be taken seriously. Most of the efforts to investigate ghosts so far have been badly flawed and unscientific — and not surprisingly, fruitless." In a New York Times article about Ghost Hunters and TAPS, Radford contended that "the group and others like it lack scientific rigor and mislead people into thinking that their homes are haunted." The show's editing has been questioned, such as activity that is not captured on tape and findings that are unsupported by evidence in the show specifically. Tools are used in ways that are not proven effective, or in ways in which they have been proven ineffective, such as infrared thermometers that are claimed to detect cold spots in the middle of rooms when such tools are able only to measure the surface temperature of objects.[11] Techniques with thermal imaging cameras, Geiger counters, electronic voice phenomenon, and EMF detectors are used with little or no explanation as to how the techniques have proven to provide evidence of ghosts or other entities. There are concerns that the devices are misused, such as the noting of Benjamin Radford's article for Skeptical Inquirer: "you may own the world's most sophisticated thermometer, but if you are using it as a barometer, your measurements are worthless. Just as using a calculator doesn't make you a mathematician, using a scientific instrument doesn't make you a scientist."
Wow..a skeptic organization finds fault with Ghost Hunters. Yawn... Why am I less than impressed? "As part of his work, Radford has ridden along on some of those ghost hunts that you see on TV. He says he's never seen blatant evidence of deliberate fakery."--- https://www.eonline.com/news/255116/are-ghost-hunting-shows-real-or-faked

Trying So you are telling me ALL (100's) of the paranormal stuff you have watched have been movies? Nothing on TV? Not even a paranormal movie which has been shown on TV? Disclaimer[edit] An unintentionally ironic title at the beginning of each show warns viewers that "chasing ghosts without proper training will get you killed". https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Ghost_hunting_TV_shows#Disclaimer Caution for your amusement only Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Not even with paranormal movies is there a disclaimer. Paranormal TV shows have no network disclaimers. I don't know how more clearly I can say this. They just don't. Even fictional paranormal TV shows like Medium and Ghost Whisperer and Midnight Texas have no disclaimers.
It is (was)! By all accounts history has recorded that; "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...." Star Wars really happened....Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! There is even indedependent corroboration in the form of the historical chapters of "Dune". The existing movies are proof and new historic wars are discovered every so often and are compiled into a comprehensive moral guide to live by. Fortunately we have good historians like Lucas. See it's all confirmed. "May the force be with you"
If it didn't happen how could we possibly write about it? Who was Yoda if not a true prophet (or is it profit?). Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
