Looks like some of our theists are doomed to go to hell.

Oh yes, more theists than atheists. I've never met a bad atheist face to face.

You know, well of course you know, that you are right as there is no hell...although as we cant prove there is no hell where does that leave us.

Anyways christians dont lie although they have been known to admit to having misspoke. ..

    Happy New Year.

Thank you and a very Happy New Year to you may it be enjoyable and care free .... be sure to make the most of it.

I found a dead calf this morning must have been only a day old the poor little thing...it is that sort of sadness that I find inconsistent with there being a god.
But it should remind us how lucky we each are to be alive and happy rather than dead with ants and flies in your nostrils.

It is times like these where I would love to thank someone for my existence but as you could appreciate an atheist has no one that they can thank....

You can thank everyone and everything that ever existed for whatever condition you encounter, since they all played a part in it.

Thank them for what exactly? Getting a bottle smashed over your head?

    That isn't love.

I have just returned from a shopping trip to town and have been told that after I left all the cows and the two horses came up with the cows mother and been hanging around the dead calf since I left.

It is so sad looking at them all...we are all sad...and the poor old horse is trying to talk to me or at least he is making sounds I have never heard from him.

It was a Braham not sure if male or female but the mother is a beautiful animal...I wonder what our common ancestor was.

Not my cows by the way they are just tenants.

Be thankful it wasn’t a sledge hammer, unless of course your into that kind of thing.

A lot of nasty shit has gone down in this universe to make your life possible, so show that shit some love.

I disagree. It is not necessary to stroke someone else's ego. Be thankful of your own existense.

Isn't it odd that we thank God when something good happens, but not a single expression of disapproval when things get really bad.

"No one" to thank is not the same as "nothing" to thank. Why does it have to be a living entity?

The thanking is a subjective internal communication and is not directed at someone in particular. I am grateful of the great good fortune that I was born and have lived a good life filled with rich experiences. I could not "ask" for more.

I tend to think of thanks being given to someone and so I thank my parents and my ancestors.
I was having a little dig in my own twisted way...my thanks always goes to my parents and my ancestors.

I thank my parents and my ancestors .... I often think of how lucky I am to be alive and just what a wonderful life that I have had and then I think of how my ancestors battled on to pass on the gift...

People thanking god ticks me off really...like the guy recently thanking god with little thought forcthe doctors who did the job.

One day at a time. You deserve all the credit.

What I'd like to know is this God of Israel spent 6 days creating all of this... so what has he been doing since? If he can do that in 6 days. Even using the Gap theory the principle is the same.
