    Correct
Count the sound waves as physical evidence OF THE STATEMENT - NOT NOT NOT - physical evidence of the SUBJECT of the statement

Still not provided your, or even a definition, of life

I'll add to that why does believing in life provide you with hope?

I would contend hope is not the opposite of doom

    Opposite of hope is despair

    But let it slide

    • More interested in your definition of life you believe in and
    • extra why it provides hope
    • hope for what exactly?

No it very definitely doesn't. As witnessed by this very example of Flat-Earthers - people who have faith in things that are false.

People have faith that their loved one's souls are looking down on them.
People have faith that ear-candling clears gunk out of their ears.
People have faith that the position of the planets when they were born directs their destiny.
There are a nigh-infinite number of things people have faith in that are objectively false.

If faith told the truth, it wouldn't be faith; it would be knowledge. And knowledge is the opposite of faith: If something is incontrovertibly true, then you no longer have faith in it.

This is your opinion. You get trusted for being honest which means your telling the truth. Faith is defined as "complete trust or confidence in someone or something."

Positivity is everything. You sound like a buddhist.

    No it doesn't.

Having faith - having complete trust - in something or someone, is an unreliable indicator of whether that thing or person is, in fact, trustworthy.

It is quite possible - indeed quite common - for some people to put complete trust in something that is a lie, or someone that is lying to them.

Faith and Trust are a divine pairing.

Holding a positive attitude is helpful but one perhaps should balance such an approach with a realisation that the world is full of trickery and nonsence and so balance positive expectation with a general caution to prevent oneself being conned.

Positivity includes belief. So the potential is there.

I am positive you will provide a definition of life and I believe you will

However it appears my trust and faith in you is misplaced because it has not happened yet

Here is another divine pairing "fire and brimstone".

    But good on you.
I certainly believe that one benefits from embracing positive emotions.
Trust...never trust anyone most of all yourself...you have a greater chance of being conned by your self talk than from anyone ...stand back ask "am I being honest with myself"...and if you say you are then probably you are not.

Most of all do not judge things or people to be good or bad as there is no need...further such qualification may hide the reality that they need be neither.
Never stand where lightning will strike.
