    No, your words:

Question - " "If it was proven to you that her claim of atempted rape was true... do you thank that shoud disqualify Kavanaugh from bein on the surpreme court.???""
You - "I ain't made up my mind yet."

So if a Supreme Court candidate attempts to rape someone, you're unsure if they should be disqualified.

But bias? You are sure that that disqualifies a candidate.

    Interesting.

If he actually thought that bias disqualified anyone, he'd have lined up against Kavanaugh from day one.

    A more general point:
Demanding "proof" of such things as partiality and bias, assessments of which are inherently matters of adult judgment and informed evaluation, immediately reveals.
Just as assuming the evils of partisanship are equivalently the creations of both (or all) parties does.

And if working for years as a central and key henchman in the Kenneth Starr led Republican coondogging of Bill Clinton is an acceptable biographical detail in one's ostensibly "non-partial" Supreme Court nominee,
and if concealing their role in such an endeavor is likewise ok,
and if lying to the public in a public hearing while under formal oath, to maintain that concealment, is not a bridge too far,

and if running up a couple hundred thousand in unexplained personal loans and revolving credit card charges while working for years as a Federal judge in Washington, DC, only to have them vanish in one year during the Presidential campaign of a mob-connected real estate speculator and casino owner with outstanding legal problems, who then nominates the newly debt free judge for the Supreme Court (which includes a hefty raise and pension plan, https://www.yahoo.com/news/kavanaug...it-card-debt-leaving-questions-234449883.html ) doesn't raise any flags,

or having the bulk of their record of doing and thinking sequestered from public view,
or seeing them publicly sucking up to the rich and powerful men they may be passing judgment upon,

then maybe their having committed sexual assault as a teenager, and then denying it as an adult, would not necessarily be a dealbreaker either.

Because the traditional - and explicit - requirement that a Supreme Court Justice maintain not only the reality but the appearance of probity, impartiality, and fair judgment of issues, has by that time been discarded completely. Of course the nominee here is a weak, dodgy, sycophantic, borderline misogynistic, vulnerable, and extremely partisan man with lifestyle problems and a small-minded agenda - everybody knows that - but the criterion nowdays is whether anybody can prove he has committed felony crimes within the statute of limitations.

Go ahead and seat him then, we will just impeach him later.

    USA Today/IPSOS poll confirms it.
    40% oppose confirmation
    31% support nomination

Is it really so difficult for Republicans to find another retarded bigot who doesn't have such an obviously spotty track record? What did this guy do that's so amazing, rescue 100 POW's from a Vietnamese prison camp?

    Why publish a "poll" ?

(maybe a question better posed in a psych, thread?)

You were the one wanting "details," even though ample details have been provided within this thread and elsewhere--do broader contextual details not interest you? Or do you only want GPS coordinates for the location of the attempted assault, a precise date and time, solid forensic evidence, i.e., perhaps a torn article of clothing with Kavanaugh's DNA? Maybe a floor plan for the house at which the attack occurred, a possible Kavanaugh doppleganger who may or may not have been present for whom Ford mistook for Kavanaugh--you'll probably appreciate Ed Whelan's batshit conspiracy theory.

An exploration of your motives here might be better suited for a psych thread.

details of the alleged "death threats"

The rest is a creation of your imagination, and when you argue with that, you are arguing with a figment of your imagination.

What kind of details? Transcriptions or recordings of the threats made? The numbers of threats, the manners in which they were made, the sources of the threats?

How might such information inform assessment of the level of threat, or whatever it is precisely that you are after?

Your oblique and, generally, scant on details posting style kinda compels a person to speculate a bit about whatever it is that you are attempting to say.

To my knowledge, explicit details for such have not been made publicly available. Law enforcement often withhold these details for a variety of reasons.

"Yes," what? You concede that "Your oblique and, generally, scant on details posting style kinda compels a person to speculate a bit about whatever it is that you are attempting to say?"

    Interesting.

    Wow. That's really profound.

Countless posters here have requested that you clarify your position, but instead, you provide us with these "gems."
