Anybody who gets something as simple as this
as badly and overtly and multiply wrong as that is not worth much for analysis of US domestic politics.

I do agree with this, however:
As much as he contradicts himself within the sentence - expectations and evaluations of future consequence are the same things, after all - he does recognize the Putin agenda: weakening the US and NATO, creating chaos in which leverage and sabotage can overcome diplomacy and common interests among liberal governments. Putin is and has been damaging the US, on purpose, in the interests of fascism - in which arena he has advantages.

    I wonder
What percent of "anti trump radicals" are agents of foreign governments intent upon destabilizing the us polity?

Most of the world's population qualify as anti Trump radicals, so that percentage is quite large.

We know what percentage hold powerful national office, where their betrayals have large and immediate national effects.
    Zero.
As far as other agenda, such as favoritism or cooperation rather than destabilization, there seems to be undue Israeli influence in Congress - but it doesn't seem to include many anti-Trump "radicals".

And we have yet another parallel with previous criminal Presidents: enemies lists. Trump has compiled a list of people he has threatened with revocation of security clearance, and made an example of one of them. http://insider.foxnews.com/amp/article/62869

The two most obvious differences between Trump and his Republican predecessors are the public nature of at least one such list, and the circumstance that the incriminating tapes of his behavior are not in his hands but his minions's - some have found their way unto TV shows, others remain in the markedly more secure hands of Federal investigators.

This is an odd power to emphasize, given the equally long list of identified perpetrators of treason, betrayers of country, and dealers with foes while in office, whose security clearances he did not address at the time or since. But doing this stuff in public and with pride has been his MO so far, and it has worked so far - so far, so good.

What makes this thread so important that it's pinned? Good God, people. Stay alive long enough to see more than a couple of presidencies and then start whining like Californians, or not! STFU and move on.

    Move on from Trump's presidency?
The wingnut line when Obama was elected was 'move on from W, it's old news, look forward, we didn't vote for him, we're all independents now, Tea Party ftw'. And that was bs.
Now the wingnuts want us to move on from Republican disaster while it's in progress.

Is Mueller's ploy to get the Republicans to realise Trump is literally a pox on both their houses? If they don't cut him loose they will lose control of the balance of power?

Cohen is Mueller's star player, Manafort stays on the bench, so to speak.

    Speculation:
I think we shall find that Cohen and Manafort are only a small part of the case that Mueller is assembling and that the resultant outcome will/may lead to a massive constitutional crisis no matter what.
eg. Proving the 2016 election of Trump/Pence as null and void due to illegal activities may be one outcome...

...and I have absolutely no idea what that would mean constitutionally...given that it is now 2018.
Except that all pardons extended by Trump would also be null and void... etc..

    I don't think that's going to happen.
Heh. That's probably a a long shot. Really long.

The flag on the White House - alone among the Federal building flags in DC - was raised to full staff this morning.
Apparently the President didn't like John McCain, and needed to express himself.

Trump voters approve of this Presidency.

Uh the last time I heard the flag being hung at half staff was 911... Tragedy and a respected man dying from a known disease are hardly comparable.

"...but we must all respect the office of President..."
Perhaps it is only because people do respect the office so much that Trump faces such angst, hostility and criticism?

Trump supporters - only the best people.

The line we're going to hear, as it all collapses in front of them, is that they never really approved of Trump.
That, and Trump is not a real Republican, conservative, etc.

Uh he originally ran independently... So...

I just love all you missinformed. The Democratic party under the current cia/fbi ananymous leadership basically joined the other team... Cartels and tax free money. Not all but many. Even navy personel used on longliners to kill competitive trafficers for the Chinese.
(I suppose flipping the guy off wasn't the smartest idea)

Hillary Clinton just surfaced as laundering money. Taking more donations than the limit without placing it in control of the DNC. That means money that should have gone toward your possibly legitimate concerns went into her own pocket.

Sure some of the people that back Trump are possibly corrupt. But Trump will make sure even you avoid slavery to the 1percent who gain their earnings through illigitimate means.

But I guess since you have never had the police called to your residence by the FBI because your girlfriend googled something like I have; your unaware of almost anything relevant to what "SWAMP" refers to...

Just follow the sociopathic trend toward your liberties an we will all end up in a socialist dictatorship.
