True enough, the only place I've ever seen a fat homeless is America. Which speaks boatloads about culture does it not? Take Bob's fat cat and leave it in the wilds of Borneo and see what happens. It will stay where you left him fat and helpless and the stupid beast will die there on that very spot because he's lost his insincts. Now take Bob and place him in Singapore, Columbia or Bombay. He can't believe it when he's thrown in jail with no trial or just cause because he's got this crazy notion that his Bill of Rights travel with him. Don't they know about Founding Fathers? The Constitution? spacious skys and star spangled banners? No? I staunchly believe that this "land of the free" is nothing more than a factory highly tuned to the manufacture of spineless worms. Its enterprise is that of smug ignorance, and all the Betty Sues and Billy Bobs laying at home in recliners with fat pets would soil themselves given half an hour in Pakistan.

If you read up on what people 2000 years ago considered to be "heaven" (or the land of milk and honey). It is quite odd now that most of the stories center around the middle east. in 2003 The USA is "conceptually anyway" conisdered the "new heaven on earth". Society here seems to be going steadily downhill in spite of dazzling tech advancements. But how can the clock be turned "back" by putting genies, be they evil or good, such as computers, abortion and genetics back into their bottles... Its a case of the development of the gadgets outstripping the development of the society. Freedom being viewed as "freedom from responsibility"
