Sometimes that's too far. I was just curious damnit. It's especially difficult though when the topic is snoozeville. This guy looks like a jew! No he doesn't! Yeah huh!

I have a difficult time fathoming why you care. I mean, I just don't care what people look like (and you say the say thing but then engage in a conversation where looks is the topic) so I thought, "they seem to care what people look like since it's a big old discussion and back and forth and blah blah, maybe I'll just ask".

Tell me oh wise one... where have I gone astray? Are those not honest questions? Oh yeah, I was supposed to read. Hehe, sorry. It was too far.

wes i dont care anything about it either , but in the argument of Israel (and as that was discussed here ....) it is highly relevant . If peoples are claiming land because it was of their ancestors , then the least they can do is actually have those ancestors , and they dont .

Its their argument not mine , I personally wouldnt care if they would all be purple Hebrew Israelites from outer space , it still wouldnt make Israel have a righteous argument for its existence .

I'm with you on all that. I don't buy it the righteous argument either. Very very uh.. irrelavent and pointless (unless of course, you care about it.. then it's apparently quite different).

I'm interested though, I remember you saying stuff about how imperialism sucks. It seems that you were implying (in our previous discussions) that real estate distribution should ultimately regress to "I lived here first" in terms of "indigenous" tribes, etc. How does this jive with what you've said above? I'm guessing I must have mis-interpreted you from the other thread... but I have to ask... how then, is anyone 'entitled' to their property? Sure, property is an illusion unless the guy on the lot has bigger guns than you right? How should all that stuff work? Ultimately, might is right eh? (regardless of whether it's a) Suckfest or not?

No , I dont think ultimatly its "who lived here first" , but if we speak of 2 actual groups (as todays Euro-Israeli's and Arab Palestinians) , than most of the times the ones that lived there first (in the situation they are in , not ancient history thats not actual to be relevant) would be the ones oppressed . But this doesnt have to be so after quite some time .....lets say in 200 years from now Israel is no longer ,its all one big Caliphat like the old times , and the Europeans are being oppressed etc , then I wouldnt say hey the Euro's are who come up short as they are not the indegious peoples , its all about oppression .

Take former Yugoslavia for instance , we have there several Muslim populations that were murdered , oppressed etc by the Serbs . Historically the culture was brought by the Turks , and many stayed many indegious peoples converged . The Serbs say the land isnt theirs , they're Turks (ofcourse they're not anymore after 600 years of mixing and many werent in the first place but thats besides the point) . So indeed what if they are , they are the ones chased around , they are the once that are victims of the situation , not the indegious Serbs , who were the oppressors and aggressors in that situation . (Im feeling bad they're Muslims because Im sure it would "seem" to you I side with them because of this , but thats not the case )

Actual opression and victimization is what does it for me , not who lived there first not even in the actual situation , but its highly uncommon for the indegious peoples in tyhe actual situation to oppress (its possible over the years like with the Serbs etc ) .

    what alqaeda really wants ..

    To Recap...
    Al-Qaida wanted:

    1. United Arab opposition to the US

    2. US forces out of Saudi Arabia

    3. Saddam Hussein deposed from power

    4. Religious regime in Iraq

    5. Split between the US and Europe

What alqaeda wants is fundamentaly very different from the
    statement above ...

    1. A second tier of ruling elite to replace the current royals in saudi .. better representing the immigrant and non elite saudis like OBL and co from across the border

    2. US forces to give cover to the new regime

    3. An oppurtunity to work with the US again to depose
secular arab/islamic leaders and left overs of the soviet
    era ..kazaks, uzbeks ...

    4. reopening of US and EU embassies and business links
so they can transfer agencies and JVs from the current lot to
    their sons and nephews

Contrary to the public image being promoted by the Western
media ..these geezers are not as "pure" in their ideology as
    one might think

They're not , they're just some players of the game , they cooperated with USA against the Sovyet , they would cooperate with USA again for their own Islamist and personal agenda's , this ought to be known .

These days they are opposing with the interests of the USA , but any other time they were not or wouldnt be ........
