Just as with my middle school teacher, this will likely end in Trump's complete mental breakdown. I look forward to seeing that.

The entire Trump/Russian collusion charge never made any sense me to. The main reason is, Trump was able to overcome the best and brightest men and women from both political parties, all without a good insider organization, and all without using big donor money. He beat Hillary with half the money Hillary had and little main stream media support.

If you add this up, all these disadvantages and his ability to overcome, means that Trump demonstrated he was smarter and more clever than the entire brain trust, combined. If the Russian Ambassador was trying to collude with Trump, for the Ambassador to lead the collusion, the Russian Ambassador would have to be smarter than Trump, and way smarter than all the Democrats and Republicans combined. Nobody is saying the Ambassador is that much of a brainiac.

Therefore, if there was collusion, Trump should be the big dog in the room. It would make more sense that Trump was leading and outsmarting the Russian Ambassador, just like he led and outsmart the Republicans and Democrats. The Democrats and some Republicans should be charged with obstruction, since they, in their vain stupidity, may have undermined Trump's US leadership plan to out smart the Russians. Or maybe the Democrats were helping the Russians, stay out of a trap that President Trump was setting. They may need to investigate this before these people come up for re-election

Another reason why it never made any sense for Trump to be led by the Russians, is what could the Russians offer Trump that he does not already have? A career politician or a bureaucrat may have visions of grandeur, while feeling under appreciated. This can be a source of motivation for people like Hillary. Trump has $Billions. He has royal living accommodations all over the world in his hotels. He can be on the A-lists. Trump is more like one of the Russian Oligarchs, who is the real power behind the Russian Government. A Russian Ambassador would know this and realize he is not dealing with a career politician, who is all talk. If anything the ambassador is a career bureaucrat who may want a golden parachute. It can pay to be on good terms with a presidential oligarch.

Good news for you, then. We've moved on from that. The charge Trump will now face is obstruction of justice.
And Putin was even more clever than he was, by your logic. He got his own candidate elected.
The adoration of all things Russian by Trump's supporters is not helping his case any.

Of course it didn’t. Anything that puts your ideological beliefs in a bad light never makes sense to you because you have swallowed the bait hook line and sinker. A couple of corrections are in order here: a) Trump did use donor money. b) He got a lot of mainstream media support. Not wanting to be blamed by Republicans for partisanship, most mainstream media organizations really gave Trump a pass on most issues. They cut him a lot of slack. And of course, Trump received the solid backing of right-wing media from the very beginning and to this very day. C) Hillary won the popular vote by 3 million votes. Trump lost the popular vote, but still won the election. The US is one of the few places in the world where someone can win the election while losing the election. Most Americans voted against Trump. Most Americans remain solidly against Trump as evidenced by his most recent job approval numbers. Only 35% - 37% of Americans approve of Trump’s presidency.

Except it doesn’t; there is no evidence Trump is intelligent much less more clever than the “entire brain trust” or the Russian ambassador. Trump was born very wealthy and has managed to squander most of his inherited wealth as evidenced by his multiple bankruptcies spanning decades. He has a habit of leaving chaos in his wake.

If Trump is smarter and clever, then why is his administration in a state of chaos? Why is Trump under criminal investigation just a few months into his administration? Why has he been unable get to even a single piece of his legislative agenda through a Congress his party controls? It’s those damn facts again comrade.

So Trump was doing all that colluding stuff to set up a secret trap for the Ruskies? And you think that makes sense? Just why would Trump need to set up a secret trap for the Ruskies? Please do tell. LOL…I’d love to hear that conspiracy comrade.

Trump is being investigated for collusion because there is evidence of collusion. Trump is being investigated for obstruction of justice because there is evidence of same. The FBI is following the evidence, and thus far the evidence doesn’t implicate anyone but Republicans.

Whether it makes sense to you or not, the evidence matters. And the evidence suggests Trump was led and continues to be led by the Russians. Russia has a lot to offer Trump, money is chief among them. You assume Trump is a billionaire because Trump tells you so. If you believe Trump’s bankers, he isn’t. He’s a millionaire. Trump has a lot of debt, and he has a long history of grossly overstating his net worth. He has always had a lot of debt, and most of his businesses are dogs. In recent years, because banks are reticent to lend to him; he gets unsavory wealthy folks from around the globe to finance him, and Russian oligarchs are among Trump’s financiers. Trump has a lot to gain from the Russians. Trump needs money. He claims to be worth over 10 billion, but people closer to Trump's finances think Trump isn't even a billionaire. Estimates of Trump's wealth go as low as 100 million dollars. What is known of his golf courses is they don't make money.
