The bottom line is the Republicans first won the House, then the Senate, then the Presidency and now the Supreme Court. The Democratic party is now nothing more than a paper tiger. It is no real threat, but is scary looking, based on 2-D to flat illusion image. To support that illusion, the worse of the left; angry, violent and con artists, now have the most say in the party. They make the most noise, so the paper tiger can be feared, like it is a still a real tiger. Trump is gradually approaching the paper tiger, and once he reaches it, he will spray paint a smiley face on its to make it look less fearful.
