    that depends

if your simply talking about what came first ,the chicken or the egg ...thats simple.since the animal species did go through evolution.. it would depend on when exactly the chicken took on the form of what we would now call a chicken.as soon as it qualified to have the prerequsites to be such ....then it is named as such.so the question rather would be.. what was named first ...the chicken or the egg. but i know your leading to more advanced questioning ,so have fun

    Boundaries

Why do human beings always think in boundaries. Maybe there are no boundaries at all and God is not the end. Who created God.. if X created God then who created X? This will go on like this. Maybe there is no end character.

I know i am studying too much and my brain is on fire right now

One possibility would be that God originated from random but self-propogating fluctuations in either the universe or whatever is outside the universe.

In looped time he could possibly create himself.

For all we know what we call god has its own god.

What about this god has been created by its own god, and that other god from its god etc... Infinit... and that one day we will creat our subjects etc... is that not explain from where that god comes from ?

Wouldnt the universe be overflowing with excess gods then? What happens when two gods oppose one another?

Quote from an ani difranco song:

"What if God's not looking down? What if he's looking up instead?"

    I like that one.

Most of the time I start thinking about things like this, I just end up feeling incredibly ignorant and realise how much we don't know. And then I think, what would be the point of knowing it? Then I start feeling better. But I've come to one conclusion from many a time spent podering this issue: my puny simple mind is incapable of comprehending such a thing.

Yeah One_raven that is a good quote, it does indeed say a lot. For example if you read some of Chesterton you'll see that perhaps God is indeed quite like man. Has something of doubt, of remorse, for example Chesterton takes the Garden of Eden and says that for one instant God seemed to doubt himself, seemed for an instant to be an atheist. He speaks of Thomas Aquinas and truth who said that if you are to say that there is no truth and that is true then this means there is truth and if there is one truth their must be other truths. So the discussion is of the chicken and the egg, well being Christian I already have an answer of mine own I just merely wished to share those statements since they came to mind.

Well, that should be obvious. Two noble and wise all- powerful gods descend upon a grassy field underneath dark and turbulant skies. And with the ever quickening pace of lightning strikes, the faces of the gods are revealed twisted and wraith-like as they charge each other. When they meet, the clash not only deafens the ears. It deafens every sense of the mind, body and soul. Courage is shorn from the base of the skull all the way down to the tail bone. Men lay weeping, impaled by the entire spector.

    Hmmmmm...

Ok... after reading all the posts my head is spinning... lol

    Lets take a rational approach.......

Close your eyes.... imagine nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing for 30 seconds.
Once you have done this tell me what nothing looks like.
If you have an answer then you are wrong, if you saw black, clear , white , etc you saw something, thus you did not imagine nothing after all...This is one of many such experiments that draw attention to the same thing.

The human mind is very limited, you do not have the ability to imagine or comprehend "NOTHING" in its extreme definition, ... so how can you begin to expect to ever understand everything?

What Im saying is, we are limited, we simply do not have the ability in this point in time ( if ever ) to even understand how everything began, how it all works , the master plan, who made who etc.

This doesnt mean we should give up, but it does mean understanding that even if you do find the answers you seek... you may not recognise nor understand them.

    Btw.......
If by chance we did learn, comprehend and decipher it all..... is it possible man would try to take advantage of it in some way given our own planets history?
Tis probably why the powers that be etc keep the answers hidden from us in the first place dont you agree?

But does Nothing really exist, if a place existed with absolutely nothing in it, how could it exist, so nothing is an abstract created by man for nothing ever existed of and by itself. Also who is to say god is out there watching it all unfold, maybe he literally threw himself into his work and is now the entire physical multiverse of which we are apart of that conscious part of God, maybe when enough humans exist (will have to be a pretty large number) then gods wisdom will start manifesting itself within us. He did say to multiply.
