For years under the picture of a polar bear, stuck on small melting ice block, which has text in the photo: "To help me", there was text: "Use sugar cane alcohol for fuel." (or related words that fit in the two lines available) I can not discover how to put that text back. If you can do that, please do so. Thanks.
Go to http://www.sciforums.com/account/personal-details You should see a box to put a status message, and then a box under that to choose your avatar, and then a box under that for a custom title. That's the one for adding text under your avatar.
Thanks. It was even easier with your link. The box for "custom title" appeared immediately and now I have the text I wanted.
Daecon just told you. If you go to your personal details on your profile, the 'custom title' box is about 1/4 of the way down the page. To access your personal details, hover your mouse pointer over your name in the top right corner where your name appears with your inbox and alert notification, select "personal details" and it should be there.
Not on mine. Maybe I need more posts or something to have that option. These are the rubrics on my personal details page: Avatar: Click the image to change your avatar. Gender: Male Female (unspecified) Date of Birth: Once your birthday has been entered, it cannot be changed. Please contact an administrator if it is incorrect. Edit Your Privacy Settings Show day and month of birth Show year of birth This will allow people to see your age.
