Put an OTHER choice next time...........

And are you talking about a REMAKE or NOWDAY series or Hollywood movie or exactly what? BSG and V were both great. Back in their day......Now days kinda lost their luster....

    Dr. Who... who?

What's "Dr. Who"? I don't think we have that here. Is it on the Sci-Fi fantasy network?

    Re: Dr. Who... who?

Doctor Who was a British sci-fi show that aired on the BBC network in 1963. "Doctor WHO" is not a name, but a question to which we're still learning the answer. We do know that the being who calls himself the Doctor is a Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey. Hundreds of years old, clownish, brilliant and wise, he travels through time and space in his TARDIS, a ship, which looks like a British Police call box on the outside but is almost infinitely large within. Currently in his eighth regenerated form and together with companions from Earth and other planets, the Doctor wanders the cosmos, fighting oppression, outwitting nasty aliens, maniacal computers, killer robots and an evil Time Lord called the "Master". He makes the Universe a much more exciting and interesting place.

For more information check out the following website:

The show was on the Sci-Fi Channel in it's first year and only featured the Tom Baker years because he was the most popular Doctor of all. Unfortunately, the show is currently not airing on Sci-Fi, however, you can purchase episodes on amazon.com.

I have to say that I would love to see a Farscape movie. Which you left off of your poll.

Another Doctor Who movie is in the make. http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19558

V was horrible and doesn't deserve a movie. And as much as I love B5, it's wrapped up in a nice little package. They should make another series, not another movie. (Renew Crusade)

StarGate is already getting another series. StarGate: Atlantis. I would love to see some made for TV movies though.

    The Last Starfighter? Hated it.

*EDIT* SciFi Channel is remaking BattleStar. Except Starbuck will be a woman.

Yeah, I voted for B5... but I'd have to agree it shouldn't involve Babylon 5 itself.

SciFi Channel is remaking BattleStar. Except Starbuck will be a woman.

Will he still chase after all the women?

I will admit that V: The Mini-series was cool but the TV show was terrible. And yes, it would be great if Crusade was renewed. In fact, Straczynski has indicated in a recent interview that he is considering going back to do Crusade again, providing that he has the time to so with his busy schedule. Fingers crossed!

P.S. Did you know that Straczynski submitted his V revival script to the PTB but it was rejected due to the budget contraints?

If Crusade is remade, I'd watch it. Heck, everyone watched it. TNT got high ratings for it. But they canceled it because it didn't have enough sex, or violence.

Also, Crusade never did finish it's own story. It was suppose to be about the Telepath war, and finding a cure for Earth. Although it ended in the first season, it was still good.

On another note, JMS (B5 Creator/God) submitted an idea for a Scifi show to the scifi channel. It was called "Solaris". Scifi channel rejected the idea, saying that it was to "Science Fictioney". Do they not know what the name of their channel is?

    Thanks Whitestar!

*EDIT* I put Farscape in the Poll.

I chose Farscape, seeing as how it's the best scifi tv show ever.

I think a movie based on the Starcraft universe would be pretty cool too. Just a thought...

    Pollux,

Would you believe that I heard someone say "Farscape is the most over rated scifi show on TV right now!" My response was as follows:

Farscape is no longer on the air. In order for it to be an over rated scifi show, a lot of people have to watch it. So I think what you meant to say was "Stargate is the most over rated scifi show on TV right now."

She got mad and started cussin like a sailor after I said that.

    NOT FAIR!

You did not include Stargate in your poll...! None of the shows you have there are even broadcasted here except for Earth: Final Conflict. So I guessed my vote would be useless and uneducated...

I really hate almost all of these shows.

I think Buck Rogers today would just be silly, wouldn't you?

Battlestar Galactica, only this time can we bring it to conclusion,

I hate it when US producers get us hooked on a series, then decide to scrap it cos the ratings 'aint good enough anymore' and then just pull the plug without bringing the story to an end.
