What is wrong with this universe, not just society? I always found it peculiar that i find myself in a universe that i find repulsive, loathe and do not respect at all.

For all the white-washed rationalizations, it doesnt truly answer but only dismiss or minimize. Where does this apalling hatred and enjoyment of pain and suffering come from? This horrendous, even unjustifiable or even truly explainable level of evil this (yes, monstrous universe) come from?

Just like the symbol of a the great engineering feat of the coloseum and the grandness of rome, the grotesqueness of what it was made for and used for, how it was built, the ugly and shameless cost. The facade of greatness. Just cold engineering feat used monstrously against terrified souls. The sickness and even cold grandness of this universe sickens me.

The older i become the more i know this is a horrible place. Looking up at the universe appears to be a beautiful expanse and twinkling of stars. But reality hits and i know the true dark nature that belies its cold, grand exterior, appearance and power.

I could care less how large or even admire the expanse anymore. I could care less about its particular actually objective meaningless laws and intricate cold mathematics behind it because its proven this universe is a predatorial one as its foundation and life springing forth from it shows its true colors no different than the iconic powerful and corrupt elite thats beauty or revelry is cold ambition and grandness. My heart and gut knows the deepest, nagging and disturbing truth that is not truly to be admired and its not beautiful or good. It just is.

Ironicly magnificence, mystery and grandesse can just hide or be a flimsy cover for monstrous evil and the truly ugly. What i also find amusing is how people justify something because that is what we have to work with. You dont have to justify this place, even if you have to deal with where you find yourself, even as immensely more intimidating as the universe. The laws are the same throughout so therefore it holds no greater promise inherently than your backyard. That is truly the saddest part. I know people have looked up at the sky and prayed or hoped for something more loving or sincere to help them or just wish it may exist. And the reality is, that would have to be outside this immense prison possibly. Wherever you go, wherever you run away the same monsters, devils and pain this universe will produce just by its nature. There is a greater chance of alien life coming to kill, steal and destroy than to be mr. Nice guy. Truly sad and shameful place. This is why the well-known metaphor of the corrupt and power-hungry is a constant one you can witness. This asshole of a universe supports it. I daresay, that is its true personality or character!

Why do people say ignorance is bliss? Because the truth is sad or ugly. Why do we make up fantasies? Look at life through rose-tinted glasses? Because we must to get through it.

I scoff not only at society but nature this universe produces. To find yourself in a place (home?) that is diametrically opposed to your deepest sense of reverence or respect is revolting and even angering.

The more you realize, the more you wish you did not sometimes. This universe by design is nothing more than lipstick on a pig. There is constant physical progress which is bizarrely disjointed or even oft-disconnected from moral responsibility or care. Just as the charismatic, powerful corruption of man. Its beauty is actually quite ugly and a veneer.

Your thinking is actually insane but you're okay. The universe supports it. Sweeping corruption under the rug or disgusting tactics to build which this predatorial universe does is not to be admired unless you approve. Did i stop you? I said 'it just is' fool. How the heck is that half-empty? Im not a fool or insane to goad myself into admiring what is actually shit or any behind the scenes, even horrendously shameful shit for adulation.

Let me even prove i am the more objective one even. History is written by the winners or at least they can glorify and downplay the 'uglies'. The colosseum is just a metaphor as a well-known example. im not picking on them in particular, all societies have this theme.

Its like 'blood diamonds', was it really worth all other lives so your pig of an ass with an empty ego could put a rock on your finger or around your neck? That cold stone gives no real value as adornment which is okay but is it admirable or truly respectable at that cost for a goddamn bauble? That meaningless stone for vanity would is worthless if you were stranded in a desert begging for a sip of water. That cold stone couldnt do a lick for you and then you are faced with its true value. Nothing.

Or how about that priceless persian rug that has no value, again, except to be shown off in its beauty which is okay but again is it worth it at the cost of a child who was enslaved in some third-world country shackled going blind to make it? Never going to school and will forever be damaged? Can you live with yourself? Some people can and they are worthless monsters. I could care less how much money or power they have, its not respectable.

Ego, all for ego. The most emptiest thing. Actually totally in reality.

Or how about some idiot in a third world country willing to sell their child into slavery just to buy the latest tv set? Because the world touts vanity and empty ego as paramount. Its lying to you.

Living in a humble abode surrounded by love is more rich than a palace with none. They are just walls literally. Some people never realize what is truly precious or valuable vs insignificant or secondary in priority. Or sacrificing whats life-giving for whats essentially dead and put an artificial value on by clever but unconcerned people who could care less.

Holy cow, you can read my mind!!

Life is tough - no two ways about it. We all 'get' to experience tragedy and suffering; from the richest to the poorest, I certainly have had my share. The universe is what it is. You can stamp your feet and scream at the universe or live as happily as possible and try to help others. I tend towards the latter. In not to many more years I am going to be deader than shit and I will finally get some peace and rest, until then I can easily put up with this life.

When my glass gets half empty I just get another Home Brew.

the glass may be 1/2 empty and/or 1/2 full
    however
the glass is twice as big as it needs to be
