Well, being that this is in the Free Thoughts forum, I don't think he's required to do anything.

Well, you'd be respectful of the spirit of the rules of the forum.

He's allowed to post here, and he's set (or will set) the parameters of the thread. If he requests that supernatural beings are a given for the sake of further discussion, it sort of behooves us to either accept those terms or not participate.

I'm not defending him, it just seems he (or any of us) should get to set such a parameter. I don't think the argument will get far anyway.

IMO, the thread title is misleading.

To draw a distinct and fundamental comparison the OP title should read:
"super-natural *Beings* and natural supra-physical *States*".
