In H.G.Wells novel the time machine its written not just mere literature but scientific knowledge. In it the clause theme as it suggests going back in the time machine time travel. But i gave it a thought and it seems that somethings its written not correct. Like when the time machine actuates and the actor inventor sits inside it....thinking that the outside world would push back into a state unknown time world past. But what i think is suppose the clocks arms do move backwards and time traverse occurs. Then the world would be pushed back into a state of oblivion. Like many identities would dissappear from earth like forcely expelled from the time lapse. And there won't be any ruins and historical wonders in the past....but total darkness...a hilly region and very few upright standing people left. What the author would send the earth into a dearth spiral that many human races would trace back to their original forms bent back like ape humanoid and cro-magnons....with no white race traces seen. But still the exception is that there is a castle, a white race which pre-dominates all other ape races. They do not speak but still understand it well the mind.

Shouldn't this be in the science fiction area? I really don't know what you are trying to say anyway.

It should be in sci-fi and it didn't really make sense to me either.

What I got out of it was something like "If we travel back in time most of humanity will die".

    And a bit of racism?

Yes I think bellbottom is in India and has some funny ideas - also not the most, ahem, lucid of contributors.

But the main point is that he has totally misconstrued the story. The Time Machine is a vision of a dystopian future, not the past, in which evolution has separated the social classes in society into separate species. The (rather hideous) key revelation, in the story, is that the unpleasant and creepy lower classes (morlocks) are in fact in charge, and they raise the effete and degenerate descendant of the upper classes (eloi) as food animals, although the eloi are too stupid to realise it.

Your analysis of the great HG Wells story is right on. One of many. The original movie was good but I didn't get it until I read HG Wells.

Suppose the world wakes up to a new morning and you can't underestimate the science power of the higher beings who control the universe.
And the newspaper read the date 12 june 2000. So the world has pulled back from 2016 to year 2000. So firstly everyone see it as an error in newspaper. But later many buildings which were constructed later dissappear and many earlier appear. Many people born later dissappear, and who had died again resurface on earth. But still all the humans are unaware of the change. As they are like walking talking in subconscious sleep. So some even wore their school dress and went to school.
While some identities were accumulated in some other planet in a time warp.

Indeed - he went forward by about 800,000 years, if memory serves - but ultimately goes back.
