Well, only the living part of nature is living. Don't you consider mountains and rivers part of nature?
Mountain erode and rivers change course. Everything in nature evolves and is, it would seem, animated.
Interesting choice of words. "Anima" = "life, soul" Personally, I don't believe that mountains and rivers have souls.

It's easy to ascribe an essence to an object of any kind. I'm not certain how I feel about it, There's definitely an energy in nature, both in the living and not living.
I cringe whenever I hear that. Yes, there's kinetic energy, potential energy, chemical energy, etc. in everything; the difference between living and non-living matter is the set of chemical reactions. But I hope you're not talking about some voodoo "energy".
The more I read your opinions the more I lean towards spirituality. And for an inside view of your "chemical reaction" I offer one of my favorite YouTube videos.
I don't believe in karma, but I act like I do anyways as I have decided it is helpful to me to do so. Same thing with spirit. I do not believe in spirits or souls, ghosts, gods demons or angels. No ghost in the machine. However, it makes my journey more entertaining and exciting to act as though there indeed are Elementals in the waters of Mother Superior as the Ojibwe do.....
The law of conservation of energy states that the total energy of an isolated system cannot change. Humans are not isolated systems. We exchange energy with our surroundings. Decomposers nourish the soil and all that rises from it. They'll recycle your energy, cell by cell, back into the environment. There is no such thing as a spiritual energy field. Your energy doesn't come from within. If you think it does, don’t eat.
Would quantum mechanics be an example of a closed system? Are there examples of energy that continues even though it might morph into new elements? I'm not sure how we might define "spiritual energy." All we know for certain is that energy exists in a variety of forms, some of which we have yet to observe directly.
You will soon be reborn by a power deep within yourself — a power that is heroic, sacred. Faith healing may be the solution to what’s holding you back from a breathtaking rekindling of power.
"In reality, no quantum system is completely isolated from its surroundings, so every quantum system is open to some extent, causing dissipation in the quantum system." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_quantum_system Spiritual energy can be defined as quantum woo.
