Making it a law without any repercussions would be foolish.

    Well well..

Just a week after The Sunday Telegraph revealed Mr Morrison was scrapping exemptions for so-called conscientious objectors, he said that there will also be no registered religious exemptions in the future.

The welfare ban for vaccine refusers will cover the childcare rebate, the childcare benefit and the annual Family Tax Benefit A supplement and could be worth up to $15,000 for every child depending on family income.

All families are eligible for the $7500 childcare rebate based on the number of days of childcare used because it is not means tested.

Mr Morrison had refused to publicise the only religion with a registered exemption fearing vaccine refusers would exploit the loophole.

The religious exemption was in place since the Howard Government years but now it will also be scrapped.

“We have had further discussions with the Church of Christ, Scientist and have formed the view that the registered exemption they have had in place is no longer current or necessary and therefore it will be removed,’’ he said.

“They are not advising anyone in their religion not to vaccinate people.

“Having spoken to them we no longer see that exemption as being current. As a result, there is no longer any religious exemption for vaccination. And there won’t be any religious exemptions for vaccinations.

“So the only exemption now is medical. We’re not accepting any further exemptions from any religious exemptions.

If we stopped all vaccinations, many people would not be impacted by the change. Their natural immune system will allow them to overcome; natural selection. Those who are impacted by all the various diseases, will fall due to attrition. The net effect, is the next generation will need vaccinations even less, if at all. This would not be good for business.

A better business model is to vaccinate for everything, so those who are vulnerable, can perpetuate. In this way, there will always be need for vaccinations, since natural selection is being trump with artificial selection.

Did you even wonder why even though medical proficiency is always getting better, more and more is being spent? It is like a new model car is getting better and better, yet the cost of service is increasing. This makes no sense, unless the solution to one problem is designed to amplify others problems, via artificial selection.

The analogy is say we need to pick a team. Normally we allow the individuals to compete so we can see who the best players are. Vaccinations are like handicaps, that we add to the data, so there is no clear cut distinction who is who, on paper. So when the coach picks the team, each year, he can't figure out why the team is worse each year. He keeps making changes, using new and better strategies, but the team never gets better but cost more to maintain, as new quirks and deficits appear.

So, from what you posted, is it safe to presume that if you caught Bacterial Pneumonia, you would not want antibiotics for it? That if you were diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, that you would refuse chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other treatments in favor of "letting natural selection take its course"? If your infant son or daughter contracted Pertussis, is it safe to say you would eschew antibiotics in favor of "hoping for the best"?

Sounds like Wellwisher is not wishing us to be well. Is there a vaccination against an attitude like Wellwisher's, or does everyone agree that we should bring back all the great plagues and pestilences (and there are an awful lot of those) of the past, inflict them on everyone, especially on those we love, and simply let nature sort out who will or will not survive? You may not be happy with the results. Oh, don't stop there, Wellwisher. Sell placebos instead of medicine; pitch them up as if they were antibiotics or even vaccinations. Making a lot of money won't protect you from the consequences of those ideas indefinitely.

Why not raise dangerous and devastating crop destroying insects, venomous snakes, parasites of all description. Go for it. Open Pandora's trunk real wide. What's the worst that could happen? Reality check: Nature does this to us pretty much continuously, and we make things even worse for ourselves and our environment by doing many of the things we do, and neglect any collateral damage. Do you really want to help that along? You think we've had it too easy because of advanced medical science?

In my life I've had mumps, measles, Hodgkin's disease, thyroid failure due to radiation treatment for that, a splenectomy, a tonsillectomy, appendectomy and a necrotic bite from either a yellow sac or a BRS. I didn't enjoy any of those. I barely survived, but not in the Darwinian sense. I did not pass on my genes to anyone. In a world someone like Wellwisher promotes, I doubt many people would wish their children to live in such a depraved health environment. Many of the worst and most intractable plagues (and even the most expensive ones to treat today) are STDs. I guess the ebola outbreak just wasn't scary enough for some people.

ph quit being such a prima donna. you can whine but no one is telling you what to believe. i'm sorry your don't like being told your attitude is stupid and dangerous because well it is but that doesn't mean people are telling you what to believe.

True. And if you didn't care for your children, only the strongest among them would survive. Go for it. I guess that's how a "modern Christian" such as yourself demonstrates family values, while the evil liberals protect and care for their weakling children. (And perhaps your discards.)
Yep. And who cares if people die? Certainly not you. As long as your political agenda is fulfilled, it is immaterial to you who lives or dies.

I did the vaccines. I gave my kid the vaccines. So what exactly do I believe about vaccines? Whats my personal 'attitude' towards vaccines.

I am not advocating "make it a law" and I am not posing "unfit parent". My attitude is people can make their own choices on self and medical decisions for their own kids.

Measles, mumps, chicken pox, are just a part of life. Measles is not particularly dangerous to normal healthy people. Mumps is not particularly dangerous to normal healthy people. Inconvenient sure. But not particularly dangerous. Childhood disease survivors (who usually pass on their genes) do make the species as a whole better fit. In general.

But Hyperbole and ad hominen are sometimes the only option for one side or another. Sucks when you encounter someone outside the absolute position of pro/con for which the discussion is gray area. Gray as in neither right or wrong.
