Sorry for all the posts today my mind is in overdrive.

Is it possible to turn imagination into a profitable business?

I am not a great writer but have a great imagination, I could not write a book like Stephen King but I could imagine a good movie script.

How would I approach this lines of though such as an idea for a great movie , to turning the idea into a profitable idea and possible business without the ability to write the script?

I have the ability to write a guide and plot of the script.

Yes but inventive imagination is the least of the requirements. Knowing what the public wants and will pay for, even before they know they want it is much more important. Corn flakes is a good example - No one knew what they were or that they wanted them until Kellogg told them they did. More recently, Steve Jobs told the public what an iPhone was and that they wanted one so badly that thy just had to have one. You don't even need to imagine anything, you can re-refresh something well known and very old - Walt Disney did that several times.

If you can't write it no one will pay you for it. They pay writers to write.

It takes more than imagination to make a business. Perhaps the question you should ask is how you can capitalize on your imagination.

You actually do not seem to have a good imagination as far as writing goes. For a science fiction book to be good it has to make logical sense. Your ideas of what science is come purely from your imagination and are illogical and not believable so I can only assume all of your imaginations are equally as illogical and unbelievable.

You have shown yourself to be a poor judge of what is a good idea.

Perhaps you should direct your talents into inventing things instead of trying to write. Of course you can go to college to learn how to write but that's going to take time to develop your talent.

Schools in the UK offer writing courses. The City University London has a creative writing centre, for example.

As billvon has stated there are many colleges that have writing courses and if you can't go to a regular school you can find schools online that will teach you as well. Good luck.
