What are you crapping on about? I support the freedom of movement of humans across the entire earth. Of course, this doesn't mean you can reach into my pants or walk into my home. Of course, without free markets, these immigrants will continue to drive down the price of labor-hours. More people dependent on the Government. How nice for the State.

There's no turning this ship around. So, party like it's Nineteen Eighty Four - and, do enjoy the New Economy, these first 7 years are just the very very very beginning. We have many more decades to come. Much more State. Much more War. Much less freedom. Much less Privacy.

Listen up Chattel, one of your Farmer's henchmen is giving you the straight dope.

Quote: "You liberalize marijuana, they sell the marijuana out of a house, then you seize the house. Which is, *snickers* you know, $10 bucks worth of marijuana. And you get a $ 300,000 house. What a deal! That's really exciting *snickers*, *laughter from the Police*."

Yeah, go ahead and pull your magic Right/Left lever. Maybe for Warmonger Hitlery. Or maybe The Mormon will run again. Or, who knows, maybe O-blah-blah-ma will run again. It isn't going to matter who you vote for. Each day you will lose more civil liberties. You will be spied on by the internal spy service, the NSA - which was designed and built to spy on you (and does). And you will become poorer, leaving your children in massive debts. Oh, and you'll be scraping and bowing to the Police. You'll worry you might say or do the wrong thing, online or otherwise. You break regulations all day every day. Ever transport something made out of wood? Do you know the source for each wood type of that item? No?! Oh, that's a federal crime.

Isn't Progressive Socialism and Central Banking and Central Planning wonderful? Yes. Good. Now fulfill your role as (a) cannon fodder or (b) Tax Chattel.

you don't understand what the market is do you? immigrants lower wages is an effect of the free market not something it would stop. you know things you hate like ensuring a liviable wage are what would stop it.

Want to know what's cheaper than immigrants? Robotics. Are you going to make the argument robots should be 'limited' from entry into the USA? Because they're driving down the price of labor. Yeah, replace all the tractors with pitchforks and shovels - THAT'S the way forward!

I do agree that for Government Schooled labor-cogs who live in HYPER-regulated unfree-markets, yes, immigrants (and robotics, and computers (pretty much any form of technology) will drive down the price of the labor hours they're attempting to sell.

The same is true of low-grade coffee. It's pretty hard to earn a 'livable wage' selling day old coffee sludge. So what? OOOHHHH I know, your solution is use State force and make people pay more for labor, keep immigrants out, prevent robotics and drink coffee sludge. Yes! That's the way forward!

Prosperity is simple, it equals to leisure time + civil liberty. The reason why we're not prosperous is because we're hemorrhaging civil liberties on a daily bases (see above mentioned police thugs legally STEALING people's homes) and so much debt has been sold via T-bonds (and other municipal bonds) that families who are fortunate enough to have a job in the hyper-regulated unfree-markets are working day in and day out to pay the State's Central Banksters. You know all those Wars don't come for free. That $100 billion wasted each year administering Government Schooling - you know, so that 1 in 5 Government Schooled GRADUATES can receive a Government School diploma AND be functional illiterate. That's costs a lost money.

Solution? More freedom, less force. Not what you want - which is LESS freedom and more force. MORE freedom and less force.
    #1 Sound money
    #2 Law
    #3 Private property rights

Pretty simple. Hell, even if we just had #3, this would instantly end both the War on Drugs and the AMA's Rx monopoly AND put most police/thug departments out of business as ownership of our bodies would be returned to us.

Again, watch the video. This is a police 'official' / so-called public servant teaching other police how to STEAL from the middle class. Which, of course makes perfectly good sense. This is what the State does - it uses violence to legally steal from us.

Quote: "You liberalize marijuana, they sell the marijuana out of a house, then you seize the house. Which is, *snickers* you know, 10 bucks worth of marijuana and you get a 300,000 house. What a deal! That's really exciting *snickers*, *laughter from the Police*."

What the f*ck don't you get??? This IS the State. It's not just the police. It's EVERYTHING the State touches. Anyone who touches the State turns from a normal, otherwise relatively decent person, into Gollum.

Gollum is an analogy for a Public so-called 'Servant'. The One Ring is analogous to State violence. It corrupts anyone and everyone who comes into contact with it.

You know, it's a tough job being a Central Planner at the Central Bank. Never enough data. Need more data.

The Price of Progressive Socialism is your liberty and your personal privacy. See, freedom to a Central Planner is just another variable. It must be reduced - which is why Peon's in Europe and Serfs in Japan and China were legally barred from leaving their Lords lands. It's also why we MUST lose our personal privacy. Again, this is simply information to a Central Planner.

Not that it works, it doesn't work. Because at the end of the day, only I know what I value. Just me.

An interesting phenomena happens when people give up their liberty and privacy for security - the lose both. Here's a TED talk on how our State's are using it's millitary hardware to begin the processes of spying on each and every one of us. This information, is being used to blackmail, intimidate and coerce otherwise innocent people - make no mistake about that.

Well you wanted Progressive Socialism to redistribute from one group and give to another - here's the Police State and State violence required to make your insane ramblings of a Social Paradise happen:

here's an idea why not when responding actually respond instead of roboticly repeating your elitist bullshit. please explain how the free market's supply and demand curves will keep wages up? do you even know what supply and demand are your fucking ignorant of every other basic economic tenet

It's also everything corporate capitalism touches. We had, for example, tapes of Enron's energy traders, after the burden of State regulation had been lifted from them, that sound worse than that.

And I'm blaming you and your kind for it. Because you and your kind are responsible for crippling the State in its essential regulatory function, with your juvenile bs about the evils of State regulation of corporate capitalists and their schemes.
