What is increasing faster is women denouncing men that rape or violence them, so I'm not sure that rape and violence is really increasing. Sexual instinct has always had the same purpose since its beginning, reproducing the specie, but it has always been subconscious, which means that we don't have to be conscious of doing so. When we eat, it is to individually survive, but when we mate, it is to collectively survive.

Women have to carry that principle in their genes, because they are the ones who have to rise children, so they have to be subconsciously cautious of their choice, whereas men don't. I think that instinct prevails over education, and that the problem of men trying to control women by force has always existed. The difference is that we became conscious of it, because society is changing. Same consciousness about war and pollution. If women did not complain about men, men would do nothing about it.

You said that "the liberal playbook says you need to have a quota system, where the women of today, have to pay for the women of the past, who deprived men in the past." Can you explain to me what that sexual quota is about? Is it some sort of unwritten rule where men can rape women? Also, do you know if men care for the pleasure of the woman they are raping? And if not, how can they have any sexual pleasure at all if they know that the woman doesn't?

So we diverge a bit here because I think that it is still mostly instinctive. I fact, I think that our instincts are almost impossible to control socially, for instance it seems impossible to control prostitution with a law. Lately, France and Canada have adopted a law that prosecutes men who are hiring prostitutes' services instead of prosecuting women. But prostitutes themselves say that the law will not protect them from violent men, which was the main purpose of the law.

Despite the actual permissiveness on internet, sex is always taboo, which means it is always controlled by subconscious means that we don't have to be aware of, so that a subconscious factor avoids us to even seriously talk about it. We have the same problem with war and guns: up to now, our conservation instinct is stronger than any social rule.

I don't think our views diverge very much after all because I actually like your thoughts about sexual instinct. I might have said something about it a little more generally if I had remembered that their is more involved than culture.

Culture evolves in an unpredictable manner, so it might happen that it permits more men to get conscious of their behaviors against women, but as the difficulty to stop smoking or eating or taking drugs shows, it takes more than will to change the subconscious behaviors of individuals when pleasure comes with it.

Sounds good. Culture can help or hurt, be good or bad, effective or ineffective. Right now in the West, culture is changing in a good direction for women.

It is effectively actually changing in favor of women, and who knows what is waiting for us in the future. For instance, what if women would be at the helm for a while?

I'm for the idea. It could help if they felt that they didn't have to be macho when leading.

The modern man is not really a natural man but more of a cultural he-she hybrid. The cultural he-she does not have the common sense needed to recognize a good woman. He is somewhat screwed toward being a women who is fooled by the emotional appeal of a good illusion/lie, that shows/tells him what he wants to see. Sexy fashion caters to the needs of he-she male. The old timer male was about self reliance and character and could see good women of substance and character because he see deeper things.

The feminization of culture causes cultures to decline, but not so much because of the women. Rather the males change and become hybrids of male/female. It is still a man's world, but he-she men are not looking at the big picture based on long term standards like logic and character, rather short term emotional and prestige pictures.

I would like to see culture polarize into male and female, with each sex learning to be true to their own nature. Men and women are attracted to each other, naturally, with this extreme polarization making the sexual reaction energy that much stronger; population explosion along with parents of character and family drive.

What do you think of violence against women WW? Do you think that there was less of that in the old times?

To me, being macho is to consider that women are less intelligent than men. To you?

Not just less intelligent, but generally weaker than men in all attributes. This includes physical strength, pain tolerance, courage and leadership ability. Machismo is an attitude that men simply must be in charge because women cannot make tough decisions. They are regarded as sentimental and compromising.

True, but as soon as men consider that women's intelligence is the same as theirs, their other feminine properties get less importance. For instance, they let women run a businesses or a country if they think its going to pay. Since there is a lot of women leaders in the community, it means that machismo is loosing ground, but there is still a lot of men who attack women, much too much for my taste.

To me machismo is about being comfortable in your own skin. True machismo isn't threatened or made stronger by the strengths and weaknesses of others.

I think that machismo has something to do with war. If it is so, how could we put an end to such a behavior?
