There are almost 2,500 posts in this thread. If I removed everything except the ones about contemporary 21st century music, there would probably be about 25.

But why would you do such a thing? If the music that was posted was being listened to by the member then this thread is named wrong because that is what it asks for, what the member is listening to. You could make a new thread about only 21 century music but I'd doubt that anyone could differentiate the 1990's from the 21 century music. But you have the power to do what you want to do but it doesn't mean that members won't post older tunes in the thread.

I have no intention of removing the posts. I'm merely expressing my disappointment that there's so little interest in modern music.

Nobody even cares about the 1990s, which introduced some truly fabulous bands and singers, such as Natalie Imbruglia, Nirvana, Sarah McLachlan and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Perhaps people here don't listen to much music which could be the case.

So true, Herr Fraggle, so true.

    "I...SALUTE you,"

...this is sarcasm, in the vein of my good friend...Lenny Bruce. I love You Lenny. My brother.

Fraggle...I'm surprised you complain about the lack of contemporary music, that is rare in itself.

Scroll back through any ten pages of this thread. You will find that more than 90% of the songs noted are at least 40 years old. Quite a few are even older.

I've got nothing against the music I grew up with, but it hardly needs more exposure! I know many of those songs by heart.

That's pretty strange, what does it say about the sciforumers? Are all very old or do old music have some strange attraction to people interested in science? Or is not representable for the whole forum, are the same people posting all the old music listing? Music from the 90's is also old, by now. I've taken a strange liking to James Blunt lately. Newer than most of the stuff in here anyway.
