Only a very few great people are autistic,
I don't think a genius can be autistic.
I do not look down on autistic people,
in many countries, there is less institution established by the government to help autistic people.

Autism is actually very hard to spot on an individual basis. Autistic people aren't seen as abnormal in most countries mostly because they aren't "seen" at all. Most countries without a strong medical framework don't even bother with most psychological ailments, autism usually being one of them. You would be surprised by the amount of brilliant autists -- their compulsive devotion makes it easier for them to study very strenuously without distraction (Which is very hard for most people). The governments (in most cases) do not need to establish institutions to help with autists because most of them are self sufficient -- severe autism is much more rare and debilitating than what is usually the case.

 

I think "growing up in Dearborn" is a major factor on SF.

I have often thought that science was hailed for being master of "cause'''''' as the working area for solution.......

now, as a novice in many degree I choose to view the human body as complete without anatomical so called genetic relevancing.

* ear testing young ones in schools without signed consent from parents may have been a cause
-my reasoning is here that, if parents aren't informed and a child comes home and doesn't do as well as before with it's "mostly perfect parents whom are unaware of the soundtesting, and due to the soundtesting perhaps the child communication variability has changed this variability may a problem related to autism.

* the ear testing in schools without parental consent, and frequency that hasn't been volunteered to the parents may also have or be relative to deafness.
